Five Star Experience - Best Way to See Amalfi Coast!

Visiting Amalfi Coast for our honeymoon and booked Marco to help us visit the towns, we had a amazing experience! I've visited the Amalfi coast before and this was by far the best way to see the sites - it was not only relaxing and stress free but Marco is so knowledgeable about the area since he is from here. We learned a lot on the tour and appreciated his recommendations on where to get ceramics, the best pastries to get and which town to have lunch in. Also, he is a great photographer and took some wonderful couple photos of us with the beautiful Amalfi coast background. We will have some great pictures to frame when we get back from our Honeymoon thanks to Marco! Wonderful experience and well worth the cost for a relaxing and 5 star experience.

Great Amalfi Coast Tour!!!
From the moment Marco picked us up we felt like we had made a new Italian friend. He was very informative every step of the tour. We enjoyed his flexibility in allowing us to make decisions along the way. He drove like a champ; the van was super comfortable and we loved the beautiful Amalfi coast. Highly recommend Marco!!

A great day on the coast

We had a wonderful experience traveling along the Amalfi Coast on this private tour. Our guide, Marco, was very friendly and clearly knowledgeable about the area, making this one of the best tours we’ve had on our travels. He catered the tour to our interests and there was a great mix of time spent with him on the road giving us new information and for us to wander on our own.
If you’re looking for a fun way to spend the day getting an overview of the Amalfi Coast, this tour is worth spending extra money on.

Excellent and efficient way to maximize your time in the Amalfi coast

Had a great time with Marco in this private tour of the Amalfi Coast, including Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. It was a great introduction to the area, and Marco is very knowledgeable and willing to share his love and appreciation for the area. If you don't want to stress about driving and just want to chill and take great pictures, this is the tour for you!

Can’t Recommend Enough
Marco gave us a tour of the Amalfi coast and his core knowledge of the area was incredible. From beginning to end, he was kind, knowledgeable and fun to listen to as he told stories of Amalfi Coast past, present and future. Take the stress of renting a car out of your hands and let this tour group show you around the coast. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you Compass Tours!!

Fabulous day out with really friendly driver

Had an excellent experience with a full-day private trip from Sorrento, down the Amalfi coast and back. Our driver arrived on-time at the hotel and was very friendly and informative, telling us all about the area on our journey. The day can be spent however you want - you can have additional stops, skip places, extend stays, etc., but there is a lot to do in the day, so my suggestion would be to go along with what your driver advises, unless you have a particular requirement.

The driver was very knowledgeable and was happy to suggest places to see based on the fact that we were a family and happy to walk up and down some of the steep inclines. He would drop us off as close to the centre as possible, then go and park somewhere, to pick us up at an agreed point later on.

The journey in the vehicle was perfect as everyone can see out - given that much of the scenery is out of the right-hand windows, this would have been a problem on a coach, but not in the taxi. The roads are somewhat exciting at times, but the driver was excellent. He would have been happy to drive more slowly if there was a travel-sickness problem, but we were OK.

The day passes very quickly as there is so much to see. Scenery and weather were beautiful and the towns and villages are perfect. Dropped off again all too soon at the hotel door on the return.

I highly recommend taking this trip - it's a bit more expensive than the coach, but the service, views, driver-knowledge, etc. mean that it's well worth the cost and, if there are four of you, it's not that much more expensive and easily justifiable.

Best way to see Amalfi Coast
Our day touring the Amalfi coast could not have been better. We were able to see so much while learning about the rich history of the area. Our guide Marco was informative and made the day fun, I highly recommend asking for Marco.

Amazing tour!

Fantastic! Marco was a wonderful driver and knew the sights and sounds of the wonderful cities along the Amalfi Coast. We learned so much about the culture and history of the region. The only way to really enjoy the coastline. Book with Marco; he was just awesome! Beautiful nemories!

Super expérience

Pour notre premier séjour dans cette région d'Italie nous avons choisi de réserver un tour privé pour découvrir la côte Amalfitaine et avons choisi Compass tour pour cette journée.
C'est Tony, notre chauffeur, qui est venu nous chercher à l'hôtel (en minivan Mercedes) et nous a conduit sur les routes de la côte avec toujours beaucoup d'explications très intéressantes sur la région. Nous nous sommes arrêtés à Positano, à Amalfi et Ravello, chaque fois pour des visites d'un peu plus d'une heure. Nous avons également pu faire des arrêts sur la route pour admirer certains points de vue.
Par chance la circulation était fluide, par contre en été cela est différent.
Grâce à Tony nous avons passé une journée découverte très agréable et cela nous a donné envie de revenir.
De plus Tony conduit de manière très sécurisante ce qui est aussi un plus sur ces routes très étroites et sinueuses.
Nous avons été très content et avons fait également appel à Tony pour notre transfert à l'aéroport de Naples depuis Sorrento.
Nous avions réservé le tour via TripAdvisor mais il est également possible de les contacter directement.
Nous ne pouvons que recommander les services de Compass Tour et Tony pour l'organisation parfaite de visites dans cette magnifique région d'Italie.
