I think the event was mediocre at best. There was a lot of hype about a small family farm that has a few chickens, 1 cow, 2 goats and 3 pigs and some lemon trees. Food was a bland spaghetti. I’m not sure why they’re doing a tour… ?

Spaghetti...? I think you are speaking about the wrong tour or you have never experienced this one, since we don't provide spaghetti or similar food.

Excellent experience

Lots of detail given, even more than was expected. This brought the experience to life even more. Really enjoyable, and host was excellent in informing all of what was happening and revolving all in the experience.

Heartwarming and hearty!

Such a lovely afternoon being immersed in the local countryside, the family run business really made it feel like we were extended family. From the unreal lemon journey to the olive oil, cheese tasting and pizza making fun it was truly excellent. The funnest part was being transported around the tiny streets in a tiny little Vespa Tuk tuk! Highly recommend.

Slow Start But Good Day
Well to be clear at the start of the day I was very disappointed with how the day started. We were told hotel pickup when we purchased the tour and then they said we would have to walk a mile to the meeting point after we had paid. Then when we arrived at the meeting point, in true Italian fashion, there were many more people than the small group tour maximum of 16 that we were told when we purchased. The bus we took was not great and the promised climate control was laughable. When we arrived we were “once again” joined by a second bus small group bringing our total to 24 adults and a baby. So why the 4 ? Once the tour started the cheese maker that did the tour was a blast. The rest was ok but it was hard to hear the tour of the farm with so many people and the pizza making was about 5 minutes total.

Great way to see the non touristy side of Sorrento!

We really enjoyed this trip! We were picked up and had everything planned out for us. The lemon farm was so great to walk through and trying out fresh cheese was out of this world. We had such a great afternoon on this adventure!

Can’t Miss Sorrento Activity

Fantastic from start to finish. The lovely team picked up our group of 7 at our Air B&B and every person involved was charming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We had adults and teens and we all loved it. The “Feraris” were a highlight but the farm, the cheese demo and pizza making were equally enjoyable. Would suggest this activity to everyone spending time in the Sorrento area.

Lemons, limoncello, cheese making, olive oil, and pizza! Oh my!

I do not even know where to begin. This experience was such a delight. It was the penultimate day of our vacation and it left us all with such a feeling of community- and satiety! We attended this tour as a family with two teenage boys ages 13 and 17. From the fun ride on the three wheel vehicle to the immersion in lemons, limoncello, cheese, and olive oil, to the adorable and kind "Uncle Frankie" who helps you make your pizza, this is an experience not to be missed. The taste of a not- too-sweet freshly squeezed delicious lemonade after the tour of the lemon farm is just perfect on a hot summer day. You can feel the pride of the family who works together to run this local business. Benedetto and Salvatore make you feel like part of the family. They kindly answer any question. The cheese demonstration is complete with many types of cheese tasting including freshly made ricotta and mozzarella. We only had carry-on luggage but we joked that we needed one checked bag just to take back all those amazing olive oils that you have the chance to sample and then purchase. I may need to come back to do just that! There is zero pressure to purchase anything, but even if you have carry-on luggage, they have small sized bottles that are allowable. Tasting them at home is a wonderful remembrance of our experience in Italy. Your experience is completed by a chance to enjoy your freshly-assembled pizza ( baked on a 100 year old woodfire oven) in an outdoor restaurant area surrounded by lemon trees. Don't expect to make much of the pizza beyond assembly, but that did not take away from the educational experience and the culinary feast of a day that this was for us. If you are in Sorrento, and you are a fan of lemons, cheese, olive oil, and pizza, this tour is for you. Don't hesitate to book it.

Amazing experience for the whole family
We did this tour on our last day in Sorrento and it was the perfect cap to an amazing week. Our two kids (14 and 12) loved the cheese and pizza making and the animals (cats, dogs, ponies) were an extra hit for my daughter. The ride in the mini ‘Ferraris’ through the narrow streets of Shiazzano was a unique treat. The adults enjoyed the olive oil tasting (get the truffle infused one!), the tour of the lemon farm, and of course the lemoncello! We learned so much about the region and how so much of the world’s lemons are exported every day. The family puts on an amazing and well-oiled show (I’ll be using the ‘Italian fridge’ joke regularly in my dad joke repertoire) and they truly make you feel welcome in giving you a glimpse of what life is like on a small farm while having lots of fun and tasting true ‘stable to table’. 7 hours max milking a cow to eating cheese is sooo tasty. Highly recommended!!

Authentic Italian family farm experience!

This was such a great experience visiting a true family run farm outside of Sorrento. We got to see and walk through their lemon tree groves, learn how mozzarella is made, taste many different flavors of olive oil, help make homemade pizzas, and try some limoncello! Everyone was so incredibly nice and friendly, you really felt like a part of their family. We even got to meet some of the family pets! It is a little pricey but with transportation from a convenient location in the heart of Sorrento, the amount of limoncello, wine, and food we tasted, and the kindness of the family, I 100% think it’s worth it!

A truly unique experience
This was a unique experience that began with a brief tour of a beautiful 16th century church with its original frescoed ceiling. Then, we walked the ‘donkey trail’ up the hill to a lemon grove where learned all about lemons and Lemoncello. It was surprisingly fun and interesting. Next we drove up the hills in ‘Ferraris’ where we tasted and learned about fresh milk cheese making. The best part was watching then tasting freshly made mozzarella. It was outstanding!!! We finished with a ride back down the hills to make our own pizzas. It was truly an amazing day and a unique experience not to be missed.
