WOW, what a beautiful trip! Alfonzo the driver was so full of interesting facts and great tips! We were able to take the public boat tour to see the coast on his suggestion. He even told us the recipe for pizza dough! I felt safe with him driving those crazy roads. Alfonzo was delightful and so proud of Italian history which made this ride educational and beautiful!

We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Roberto. Seeing Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello with his expertise and anecdotes made the experience so special. He brought us bottled water and snacks for the car ride, which was as a lovely touch. We found the private tour was worth the money, as we could take our time in each destination. Would recommend.

We had a Wonderful time yesterday with our guide Alfonso our best guide yet. He made us discover the marvelous coast of Amalfi in Italy. Not only the scenary but also the culture and the history of the people of Amalfi. He was so kind and generous!!!! Thanks Alfonso

Fabulous tour. Our Driver Alfonso was exceptional. He maintained the good time rolling during the whole trip. He was super knowledgeable and filled us with lots of fun facts. Drove at a perfect pace and made us feel safe during the whole journey.

Alfonso was a great tour guide & driver. The roads are switchbacks & very narrow. He did a great job navigating the roads as he gave us interesting facts about the areas we were seeing. Positano, Capri & Ravello were beautiful & well worth the trip!

What an amazing day! Friends suggested we take a tour of the Amalfi Coast and not try to drive it. I’m so glad we listened. The traffic even in March is formidable.
Our driver was charming and gave lots of suggestions and history. The towns perched on the cliffs are stunning. We had just enough time in every town to explore. I so recommend this tour!

The visit to the Amalfi Coast was very good and very comfortable. The driver, Alfonso, was fantastic: we left on time, he drove quietly along a road that is not easy and he has been very friendly and friendly with the group. In addition, during the journey, he gave us information about the area and its customs. All this with flexibility.

Rick Steves mentioned a deal to ride on a minibus (like 8 passengers) from sorrento to the Amalie coast. I don’t see where to sign up for that on the mondo website. The website only mentions buses up to 19 people. How can I make sure I reserve space on a smaller bus?

I think they bring a vehicle based on the number of people. If they have 19 people, I believe they would take at least two vehicles. JA

I would like to do this tour after my Rick Steves tour of Sicily. I believe I can catch a flight from Catania to Naples (?) spend the night in Naples to get to Sorrento in time for the tour and then go back to Naples to catch my flight home the next day. Is that possible? or just to busy? Thanks.

Is the time is enough for this trip if we visited this place Via the cruise..as we have only specific time to get back to the ship for the next port journey?

Our tour got back late (because they didn't want to short us on our time at each stop and traffic was bad). Don't chance it. I would suggest hiring a private driver for the day and plan it so you go farthest out early in the day instead of having the longest drive at the end of the day due to traffic. Rick Steves mentions Monetti Taxi as a possibility. They book up far in advance. We booked with Sorrento Silver Star and MondoGuides for various purposes while in the coast area. Both were very good and recommended. Good luck!

Do I have to pay full price for infant (under 2 years old)? There is no option on this sure to pick adult and child tickets.

As I do not have children I would reach out to Mondo tours for the answer. If you need a seat for child carrier I would expect a charge. Btw it was super hot in August, so you might want to look for a tour thats mainly on AC bus if going during hot season...don't know if a child could handle heat...as adults had a hard time

Are there any additional fees not listed here for this tour? Some tours I found online list fees that need to be paid separately with cash when entering certain areas of the towns along the Amalfi Coast with tour vans. Thank you in advance for your help!

It’s all day. About 8-9 hours. Definitely worth it. I’m not into yours at all, but getting around the amalfi on your own is tricky due to the driving.
