Decent time

Almafi was great. 3 hours to relax. Positano was a bit more crowded and not as much time. Boat ride was great.

Poorly organised.

I booked this trip for 7 family members as a honeymoon gift for my son and daughter in law. I have arranged many a school trip myself and consider myself very well organised. The only information I had was that there was a hotel pick up at 9am. At 8.15 the hotel gets a phone call ( not me) saying I was not at the agreed meeting point and the transport was leaving. I had to phone the company. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude, not in the least bit helpful. I was told I could not have a refund and that if I wanted to go on the trip I had to get a taxi. Despite advertising it left from Sorrento, we had to get a taxi for a 45 minute journey to Nerano costing 140 euros! A very stressful start to the day. The crew on the boat were lovely, Amalfi and Positano were beautiful but packed ( August!) Shame, I still don’t know if this was a clerical error/human error but an apology and a refund for the taxi would be nice.

Hi Lynda, I am sorry your day with us did not start out very good. Your pick up info was sent through VIATOR, because that is the only contact we have for you. It is also stated on your ticket that you should wait for info from us about pick up. (which i have sent sreen shots of the messages sent in private)When you were not at the pick up point we had no choice but to leave, we are unable to wait, there are other clients waiting and the boat must depart as scheduled at 9am. We reserved and paid a bus company 15€ per person to bring you to Nerano and were charged even though you missed the bus. Unfortunately, you missing the bus was not our error, we sent the info for you to get the bus on time.(I have also sent it in Whatsapp privately). As for the person on the phone being rude and unhelpful, I believe it is the fact that in that moment there was no other way we could help. We don't have cars just waiting around to send out and in that moment you spoke we were trying to board 400 passengers. Again I am sorry that your day started out poorly but we did all we were supposed to do. I think you can see that we are organized and provide a great service by all of the great reviews we have. You, for some reason, I believe, missed the email with the pick up details and that was the cause of it all. Kind regards and take care.

Amazing Trip!

Giuseppe!!! The hostest of the mostest! While the boat is a modest size, large enough to not feel too many waves, it had plenty of seating in the bow as well as inside and covered. Seating is first-come first-serve, but there was never a formal line created for boarding. There was plenty of life vest seen above the seats, and Giuseppe explained the history of various spots along the voyage over, with plenty of photo opportunities along the way. They sell water, coke, limoncello, prosecco, and Peroni on the boat, with the most expensive being the Peroni at 3,00. The boat would announce what time it would be docking for departing the ports, with the boat arriving RIGHT on time, not waiting on the docks, but Giuseppe counts all on board and will kindly wait for stragglers. Our group did not have any issues with this in either Positano or Amalfi, so smooth sailing with the 3 hour stop in Amalfi and 1.5 hour stop in Positano. Highly recommend this tour!

Amazing views best viewed from the sea

The coach transfer from Sorrento was on time as was the medium size boat from Romano to Amalfi and Postino, everything ran smoothly the driver and skipper were really friendly and knowledgeable and the views from the boat amazing. It was absolutely the best way to see these towns- from the sea, because once you got there their beauty was lost to heaving crowds and it was full of expensive souvenir shops. If you like a swim take your bikini, as with everywhere else the beach is packed but you might find a corner to sit and dry off!

Amazing boat tour!

Highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of our Italian vacation. The boat ride was lovely, the tour guide was informational, the views were exceptional and the locations were the most beautiful places in the world. My only complaint is that we could spend 1.5 hours in Positano.
