The day started with us being herded, like sheep, into a holding area where were were given colored wrist bands that signified who goes on which boat. Our family of 4 was called to a boat in a different part of the dock and put on with 1 captain, and 3 other couples.
Turns out our boat was smaller than the others, maybe because there were "only" 10 of us? But because of the rough water that day, we needed to split: half of us in front, half in back. So that meant, with our small boat, our family of 4 was not able to sit together the entire boat ride. My son and I were with 2 other honeymoon couples sunbathing and instagramming on the front deck. Yay.
The "captain" was lousy. Didn't point out anything other than where the celebrities sightings were, and the cost of the homes. Drinks were listed to 1 each. A small, 4oz solo cup of Prosecco (ONE), and a soda (ONE) for each of the kids.
More issues but I've run out of characters. End of story: do not book.

Dear,
thank you for sharing your experience with us, I'm sorry that your group was divided, for safety reasons due to the sea but, no one ever said that you had to split your family between the stern and the bow, you could stayed together, either at the stern or at the bow ! The drinks offered are those listed in the inclusions and you could have asked our crew on board for more without problems. In any case, when you are on holiday you should relax and not think about how many cokes you can drink on board, personal suggestion. Our is not a Guided Tour of the Coast, on board there is a skipper/assistant that will only point out the highlights of the area with some personal touch of course ;)

Phenomenal experience!!! Worth every penny… very knowledgeable captain 👩✈️ he is versed in all of the sites along the way… you also stop at a freshwater fall coming out of a mountain… a must see

Did lots of research on day tours from Sorrento and was so happy I chose this one. It was the perfect day trip to see Positano and Amalfi. Our tour guide even stopped off to show us some hidden spots along the coast. Perfect size boat with only 11 people on board. Our driver Johnny was awesome too! Excellent choice for anyone undecided on which excursion to do!

This was a great day. The ride along the coast was scenic, well managed, and a highlight of our two week trip in Italy. It was good taking a small group tour instead of the ferries. Much more personal and efficient use of our time than other ways to visit Amalfi and Positano. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed this tour immensely. Our train from Naples was delayed and Rosa arranged for the driver to pick us up from the station so we didn’t miss the tour. The time in Positano and Amalfi was around 70-90 minutes each and it was enough for us to enjoy. We also stopped at a swimming spot and a waterfall. Antonino was an excellent guide.

The perfect way to see the Amalfi coast. Small boat with 10 people. All day cruise, stops in Amalfi & Positano. Swimming stop and beautiful views of the coast from our boat. Our captain Giovanni, was fantastic and the support staff was wonderful. Fun day !

We had a great time. Sat on the front of the boat and soaked up the sun. Saw the beautiful Amalfi Coast while listening to the best playlist! Had a couple of quick stops in Positano and Amalfi- long enough to do a little shopping and grab a bite to eat.

I booked this boat tour with my husband and our 2 friends while we were in Italy in the beginning of October, and we had a great time! The boat left from Sorrento in the morning, and it lasted the entire day. We spent about an hour just riding on the boat, taking in all the views before porting in Positano in Amalfi. You get about an hour & 1/2 - 2 hours in each place which felt like a good amount of time to get something to eat, walk around, visit the beach or do whatever you want to do. The boat was very nice and clean, and the 2 staff members we had were super nice and hospitable. They did provide water bottles and beer which was a nice touch! Lastly, before returning to Sorrento, they anchored somewhere and let everyone swim for about 30 minutes. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking to explore a couple other cities on the Amalfi coast without going and staying there overnight.

hi, what time would the tour & start/end as i would be coming in from Rome for the day.

We were a large family group that also came in from Rome, they accommodated a 10am departure so we would not rush at the crack of dawn. But our family took up the entire boat, just confirm since you may have others on your excursion waiting. They are friendly and super flexible.
