The farm experience was absolutely amazing with a great guide and awesome food! Would highly recommend this as a tour while in Sorrento! Alberto was great to get us into the tour last minute and even arranged a private transport with Rosa who was very nice to chat with while we went to the farm!

A lovely morning with owner of farm. He was engaging and seemed to love his lemon farm! Interesting information about lemon trees, how they are grown, harvested, etc. Nice lunch after tour of farm with interesting fellow travelers. The farm is high above Sorrento with some great views of the area. Would highly recommend this tour while in Sorrento.

I have nothing but good things to say about this tour, which was probably THE highlight of my week in Sorrento.
Pick-up was from my hotel, a 20-minute drive up into the hills and then a leisurely guided tour round a working farm from Eugene which was fun and informative. The farm has been run by his family since the end of the 19th Century, and produces lemons, olives, onions, wine, apricots and more.
You get to meet the various farm animals (which all have a role there, but aren't bred for their meat) and then it all finishes with a lovely laid-on lunch primarily consisting of the farm's own produce, with generous helpings of wine and limoncello!
As a solo traveller, it also gave me a nice opportunity to socialise - the tour party numbered about 20, with a mix of ages and nationalities.
Only minor quibble was that the minibus was ready to take me back a little bit sooner than I would have liked, as it was clear from the hosts that we were welcome to stay a bit longer. Because of my hastened departure I didn't get to properly look at the items that were available to purchase, and am unable to comment as to the quality or value of them.
Clean toilets were available for use (free of charge) and the area also offers some very scenic views.

One of the sons was so informative and personable! The meal prepared by his mother was wonderful! The oils available for purchase after a tasting were very good too!! Highly recommended!

A wonderful afternoon spent at a family run lemon farm. An informative tour of how a small family
Run farm operates. The best part is tasting all the delicious homemade products, and ending with a superb meal prepared by Mama. A fantastic tour!

Such a fun unique tour to see how the famous Amalfi Coast lemons are grown, and taste some of the amazing product. Everything we saw and tasted was amazing!

First off - Rosa provided us door-to-door service and a beautiful, personal overview of the area (complete with hiking suggestions!!); contact Sorrento Charter & Villas to make your stay in Sorrento truly special. Then, we were dropped off at La Masseria Farm - Eugenio welcomed us graciously onto the farm to learn all about rich agricultural heritage of the area - lemons, olives, herbs, farm animals, wine & cured-meat making. The tour of the farm was topped off with a hearty lunch, made by Maria (mama), to taste the delicious, fresh fare. Homemade wine, limoncello and a lemon tiramisu were highlights!

This was, by far, one of the most interesting (and delicious) food tours we have taken during our extended visit to Italy. Eugenio, our host and part of the family whose farm we visited, was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and gracious. And the luncheon prepared by his mother ("Mama") at the conclusion of the tour was excellent. Absolutely worth a visit....
