Jeg anbefaler å leie båt med skipper første gang dersom du ikke er kjent. Vi leide uten fordi det var ingen skipper tilgjengelig aktuell dag. Dette er imidlertid ikke noe problem dersom du har en anelse erfaring med båt. Årsaken til at vi ville ha skipper var å få gode tips til steder å besøke, for så å reise på egenhånd senere.
Vi fikk en del vind på vår tur, og kunne dermed ikke ankre opp på alle steder vi ønsket. Turen var flott likevel, og man finner alltid lune steder. Båtleie er virkelig noe å anbefale. Båtene er enkle å håndtere, og tilstrekkelig sjøsterke. Service fra utleieselskapet er god, så dette er svært enkelt å gjennomføre, enten du er alene, eller en familie eller vennegjeng.

This was the highlight of our trip to Ischia! The best day ever. The staff were so friendly and helpful and could not have been better! The island is so beautiful and this is the best way to see it! Thank you so much, we will be back!

Accueil chaleureux de Pietro (Pierro) qui parle parfaitement le français et qui nous a donné tous les bons conseils pour un tour de l'île d'Ischia inoubliable. Bateau impeccable et très facile à manœuvrer pour de nombreux mouillages et baignades dans des lieux magnifiques. Le prix demandé est très raisonnable (en comparaison avec la Corse pour les français) et la réglementation Italienne permet d'avoir un moteur de 40cv sans permis particulier... ce qui m'a arrangé, ayant oublié mon permis bateau. Merci à toute l'équipe qui a été formidable, nous recommandons sans réserve cette compagnie

It was our vacation highlight on ischia. Angelo who was our skipper showed us ischia not like a booked tour, but more like a friend who enjoys to show us his beautiful home. Thank you for this amazing experience which allowed us to see ischia from a different perspective !

We had two great experiences with West Coast. One day, we took the boat out on our own. The guys at west coast were helpful with getting us ready to go. The next time, Angelo took us for a trip around the island. He was friendly, fun, and super knowledgeable about Ischia. Thanks for the great time!

I would give this 10 stars if I could. It was the most beautiful and fun day - an absolute must-do when visiting Ischia. I decided to rent a boat for the day based on the reviews and wow am I glad we did. Surprisingly affordable and the absolute best 8 hours of encircling the island, learning its history, and swimming in the crystal clear waters and thermal pools. I had originally intended to go without a skipper but accidentally booked a boat with a skipper and it turned out to be a far better experience than if we’d try to do it alone. Dario knew all the great swimming spots, was extremely professional, friendly, safe, knowledgeable, and most of all, fun to hang with! He catered the day to how we wanted to spend it - which included stopping for lunch in Sant’Angelo. We will definitely be doing this next time we are in Ischia and will be asking for Dario again. A perfect day!

We booked a day trip on a boat around Ischia with West Coast, through Ischia Review. It was a real highlight of our trip to Italy and Ischia.
Our skipper Angelo was amazing, he’s a local Ischian and very knowledgeable about the history and myths of the island. He took us around the whole island, to many beautiful swimming spots, as well as secret caves and even snorkelling in bubbly water near the castle. He gave us great recommendations for food and drink. He really went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and was very flexible and accomodating with the itinerary for the day. He was extremely warm and down to earth which made spending a whole day on the boat very easy and enjoyable.
Thank you Angelo for an unforgettable experience. A must do if you visit Ischia! Worth every cent.

Esperienza fantastica. Facile da raggiungere al porto di Forio, gommone in ottimo stato e con sorpresa teli da mare a disposizione sulla cuscineria, fornitissimo frigo bar incluso. Skipper Adriano super professionale e discreto. Il classico giro dell'isola lo ha reso indimenticabile mostrandoci la distesa di bolle sottomarine sotto al castello Aragonese e facendoci scoprire le sorgenti bollenti vicino al parco Castiglione.

What a day we had yesterday! We hired a RIB predator to take out from Forio port and sail round the whole of Ischia. Even though we didn’t have a boat license between us, we didn’t need a skipper and what fun we had.
After a comprehensive safety chat, instructions and best spots round the island, OFF WE WENT!!
The weather the great, boat manageable and with the wind in our hair, how free we felt after months of lock downs.
Could not recommend this more and we are planning on doing it again on this trip.
Thank you West Coast the most memorable day in years!
