Both our tour guide, Diego and driver, Giovanni were excellent. Giovanni was on time and navigated the traffic expertly! Diego was very knowledgeable about Pompeii and Herculaneum, giving us insights to the art and the history as well as the archeology.
There was so much to see. Herculeneum has more that we would have liked to have explored but time and physical exhaustion didn’t allow for it! I might suggest starting there rather than Pompeii.
Overall, an excellent trip! Thank you!

Fantastic guided tour with Sergio!
Lots and lots of information and explained everything well along with welcoming questions - extremely professional especially whilst dealing with an unreasonable tourist.
The think it would be helpful to make it a little more obvious where the guides were at the beginning and would’ve liked slightly longer in Pompei, however as we were also experiencing Herculaneum (highly recommended) I appreciate time was scarce.

It was really good. First, our driver Giovanni was excellent. He worked hard on his English to communicate and he negotiated the curves and hills of the Amalfi Coast safely.
Our guide was also excellent. He knew his stuff and tailored it to our interests. The ruins themselves were unbelievable. It is hard to fathom how large Pompeii is without being there. Highly recommend both the tour, the company and the driver and guide.

The tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum led by our guide and archaeologist, Raphael, was amazing. I am a history teacher and had some background on these two tragic cities, but I still learned so much. The Discovery Channel (or its competitors) would be wise to employ him as a host of an archaeology program. He was charismatic, funny, and entertaining. One would never tire of his Italian-accented English. He would truly give Josh Gates some decent competition.

This tour was a beautiful and unforgettable experience, our guide Gennaro was great and knew well the history of The archeological sites, he also always responded precisely and kindly to any questions. The visit was dense but the pace was easy to walk through. We saw a lot at a good rythm.

What an amazing tour. Thank you so much to Giovanni, our driver, for collecting us from the meeting point and navigating us gently through the Napoli traffic to Pompeii, then on to Herculaneum, and finally back home. He also shared his knowledge with on the way, pointing out key landmarks.
At the sites we were escorted by Vincenzo. His knowledge was phenomenal. Everyone in our small group really enjoyed the day.

Ivan was an amazing guide. He was a wealth of information and was able to give personal context as he excavated some of the sights we saw himself. Ivan was engaging with our children as well. He was able to show us more interesting sections of Pompeii away from the large crowds of other tours.
Additionally, Giovanni was our driver for two tours during our trip. He was an excellent driver making us feel safe the entire time. He also took us for a wonderful breakfast and gave our kids little gifts. He is such a sweet man and we very much enjoyed our two days with him.
I would only use Askos Tours for any future trips to Italy.

The ASKOS driver Giovanni was really wonderful. His English was limited but communicated very well. He was clear on where we would meet after the school tour section. He was very pleasant and got a a back to the train station in plenty of time. His driving was excellent, we never felt nervous. Antonio the archeologist was excellent. It’s only a four star because there was so much ch to see and not enough time to absorb. But Antonio did a great job with the time we had. I suggest people don’t visit during The aster week! Other than that Italy was amazing.
