Lo vimos todo estupendamente y casi estábamos solos, sin los agobios de Pompeya se disfruta la ciudad mucho más. La guía Nancy fue estupenda, nos lo explicó todo a la perfección y con todo tipo de detalles, muy buena guía!!!!

We booked the guided tour of Herculaneum with GetYourGuide, offered by WORLDTOURS. Marco and Alessandro picked up us at the Cruise port terminal. At the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum Donatella was our guide. Everything was excellent. In Herculaneum there were no lines, or crowds. We were able to appreciate everything calmly and in detail with Donatella's explanations. The thermal baths were awesome and everthing is well preserved. We were in Herculaneum for more than two hours. At the end they returned us back to the cruise terminal.
This is totally recommended if you are looking something to do in Naples in a short amount time (total time was about 4 and a half hours).
It was the best experience of all the ports we visited during the cruise.

Herculaneum is incredible. My husband and I enjoyed everything about this tour. It was a small group (7 people) and we were the first to arrive at the site so had the entire place to ourselves for the first 30 minutes or so. After having to fight the crowds at Pompeii this was a delight. Our guide Nancy was knowledgeable, informative, patient and engaging. She clearly has a passion for her subject and made the park come alive for us. I highly recommend this tour. Nancy also leads a tour of the Archaeological Museum in Naples, which I wish I had known about before we visited the museum.

Posh taxi ride with audio guide. Could have organised a taxi and paid to get in myself for a lot cheaper.
Nothing wrong with the driver but he was just a driver who scanned us into the site and told us where to get the audio guides.

Hola somos Mónica y Genis desde Barcelona y el otro día se nos olvidó mencionar y agradecer a Nancy la maravillosa visita guiada por Herculano.

Do this tour! Our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable about Herculaneum, Vesuvius and Naples itself! The group was small which made it feel private and our guide answered every one of our questions! Being picked up and dropped off at our hotel was also so helpful! I would also advise to go in February as it is still wonderful weather but a lot quieter!

Massimo was an excellent tour guide and was able to transition from English to Spanish flawlessly, as we were two couples one from Spain and we're from the United States. He is knowledgeable and incredibly well-informed. We would use World Tours again.

We were picked up on time from our agreed meeting point, then driven to the port to pick up some cruise ship passengers: they were about 45 minutes late. Our group consisted of English, Italian and Spanish speaking tourists, with our guide having to repeat everything in 3 languages (which he did really well)! There was a very loud and domineering individual in our group. We decided to pay extra to hire audio guides and go off on our own: we probably didn’t gain as in-depth an insight as we would have with a guide, but it was fun exploring the site on our own. The allocated two hours were not enough: 3 to 4 would have been great.

I have to say what a fantastic transfer we had from our hotel to Herculaneum. Masssimo our taxi driver was fantastic he new lots of history and was a fantastic host. Pleasant and friendly so if you can ask for him he’s amazing.
