Nice trip and a good combo of the itinerary. Only tour who combines Herculaneum and Vesuvius in one day. A bit of a last minute change of departure time and location, but otherwise smooth pick up. It would have been nice if electronic tickets would have been emailed before we left home to be printed out and not the day before as we had trouble with internet and our phone sometimes. It turned out that we had almost 4 hours for Herculaneum not just two, which included time for lunch in the city nearby. NOTE, No meals available in Herculaneum, just vending machines for ice cream and drinks. We traveled mostly in a 50 seater bus. We were transferred to a 20 seater bus for the drive up Vesuvius and the driver told us where to find him later and at which two possible times. He was on time and easy to find. Climbing Vesuvius is hot and dusty, and sometimes very steep on a pebble road with no shade, but well worth it. The crater is huge, larger then it appears on images. Great view over the whole bay. Drive back to Naples with the transfer to a larger bus was smooth and well organized and after a quick drive back the drop off was easy as well.

De trip was heel goed geregeld. We kregen alle tijd om de bezienswaardigheden te zien.
Ook makkelijk dat je uit een aantal ophaallocaties kon kiezen.
Busje was ook comfortabel, chauffeur kon een hoop en ook duidelijk vertellen.

Bardzo fachowa opieka. Kierowca przyjechał punktualnie na wyznaczone miejsce zbiórki, w trakcie podróży udzielał ciekawych informacji o mijanych miejscach oraz zwiedzanych atrakcjach. Pompeje przepiękne, dzięki biurowi podróży możliwe było sprawne wejście na teren muzeum. Jeśli chodzi o Wezuwiusz to kierowca zawoził przed bramę wejściową ma wysokości 1000 m, a następnie wyznaczono 2-godzinny czas na zwiedzanie szczytu wulkanu.
Niestety jedynym minusem (niezależnym od biura) byli lokalni wulkanolodzy. W cenie biletu było zapewnione zwiedzanie z anglojęzycznym przewodnikiem, natomiast miejscowy organizator (na szczycie wulkanu) w sposób opryskliwy poinformował, że mamy czekać, aż zbierze się dość liczna grupa. Osoba oprowadzająca nie mówiła płynnie i wyraźnie po angielsku oraz oprowadzała znacznie krócej niż włoskie wycieczki.
Polecam powyższą wycieczkę i kierowcę Marco :)

Ok, it was raining and that meant the track to the crater of Vesivius was closed, but this tour was mediocre throughout. We really didn’t want to visit a cameo showroom or have a mediocre pizza lunch. The guides English was also ‘not so good’. Not great value.
Pompeii however is definitely worth a visit (a whole day wouldn’t be wasted).

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo fatto questa escursione durante l'Epifania e nonostante il caos il tour è stato a dir poco ineccepibile! Organizzazione curata nel dettaglio, guide molto preparate e disponibilissime, servizio puntuale e attento. I siti visitati sono a dir poco spettacolari e super consigliati. Spero di poter tornare presto a Napoli e poter usufruire ancora dei vostri tour!

Driver - he's just a driver, not a guide - disappeared without telling us and left us stranded at the top of Vesuvius for an hour and a half with no clue as to what was going on. Only repeated calls to the agency established that someone else would collect us and take us to Pompeii, although we had to guess who it was by make of car alone. Pretty terrible experience.

Everything is organised for you from transport to tickets. I feel having a guided tour included in the ticket for Pompeii would have been good, as without it the ruins aren't much but ... ruins. I loved Vesuvius, though, I personally wouldn't get a guide as it was a very short guided section. The tour organisers were helpful at answering questions that I had, though note they do not come with you to the attractions.

Yes, well noted this option doesn't include guide service in Pompeii to permit travelers to visit archeological site and crater of volcano in their own rythm and don't follow mandatory guide and the fixed itinerary ,and this is the main advantage of this tour rather then prebooked entrance tickets and travelling in small group.

A scam. They are impossible to work with. They don't do hotel pickup, don't provide skip-the-line tickets, and don't provide English-speaking or any other sort of guide. I had to contact them repeatedly just to find our where and when we could catch the tour bus, as they changed the story several times. When the bus finally took us to Pompeii, the driver dropped us at the wrong door and left and we had to wander to a different door, without any guide at all. When we finally found the door we should have been at, we fought our way to the front of the line with a set of printed "vouchers" and had to attach ourselves to someone else's tour. You can get much better service for half the price.

superbe ! la ville est assez grande, il faut prendre son temps, les rues, les ruelles... on est vraiment à l'époque romaine !
seul bémol, prévoyez un en-cas et des boissons, car sur place il n'y a qu'un seul snack et il est plein, forcement en pleine chaleur, il fait soif.

We had two full days in Naples so it had to be whistle stop. The driver was well-organised, the vehicle was smart, and it all ran smoothly.
We had about 2hrs at Pompeii which wasn’t enough - it would have been better to stay longer. There are snack bars outside to grab some lunch as it is a rush.
The trip up Vesuvius was great but we probably had 1hr too long there which would have been better at Pompeii. Maybe we climbed quickly. The crater is impressive and it is an iconic site so we’ll worth doing, great surrounding views.
Overall, this trip is well worthwhile if you’re short on time, but if you have longer look to spend more time at Pompeii.

Hi - I understand this tour is transportation and skip the line access - no guide - which is just what we want as we will have kids (8&10) with us and just want to wander round on our own. Question is - is there somewhere we can get food from (hungry kids no thanks!) and how much walking round time do we get in Pompeii? Thankyou

Not sure how far Naples is from the cruiseport in Naples. Would we have any time in Naples? How could we travel to and from the cruiseport? Please advise the total cost for 4 of us. Thanks for your help.
