Our family of four booked this day tour and we are so glad we did! First, Ilaria was very helpful and communicative during the booking process..thank you Ilaria! Our driver, Paolo, arrived promptly at 8:30 and was so friendly and funny too! He took us to Pompeii, where we met Roberta for the tour. She was amazing with our two boys, ages 7 and 13. She kept them smiling and engaged (there's even a little competition between parents and kids... with prizes!) and this can be a challenge with my shy and stoic children! They never complained once. We went to many other historic places in Italy and each time wished we had Roberta there to guide us! We all learned so much and I could envision life as it was back in 79 AD with her excellent information. Thank you so much Roberta, you felt like a dear friend after just 2.5 hours! Next, the driver took us to a local winery where we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on the patio and wine tasting. They had a wonderful selection for the kids too, and we enjoyed our wine so much we ordered some to ship home!. Paolo made sure we finished up in time so we could make it to Mt. Vesuvius before it closed. We walked up to the top and it was such a beautiful day with beautiful views. So worth the steep 30 minute climb! This ended up being my favorite day of entire 2 weeks in Italy. Wonderful!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic day today. Couldn't fault it from the booking process to pick up from our hotel and everything ran like clockwork from start to finish.Maria our guide was fantastic with our 10 year old at Pompeii and really made it come alive for him. The 2.5 hours flew by and our son was fully engaged at all points! Not something I would have expected our son to say but the ruins came alive for him, thanks to our fantastic guide. Marco our driver was excellent, very polite and courteous and there at each point of the day. A really special and fantastic day we would certainly recommend.
