I had no doubt about the success of our meeting in Naples among friends from different cities, having already chosen Around, whose soul is Valeria, as a guide to the Sanità district about a year ago...
Valeria (never chosen was more apt!) was perfect in everything: she was able to manage our group with different ages, relating to everyone no.
A trained professional, passionate about her work, able to capture and keep the attention high throughout the tour from Vomero to the Spanish Quarters, lightening the exposure with pleasant curiosity. In love with her city, presented with liveliness and passion, with its art and its History, she made us all fall in love, also cheering us up with pleasant surprises that... obviously... I will not reveal!
Attentive to our needs and desires, without ever losing sight of the cultural aspects and the timing of the guided tour: he transmitted enthusiasm and passion to us! Thanks Valeria, there will definitely be an itinerary “Naples 3” to continue with Around and then with you my knowledge of a unique city in the world.

What a fascinating and absorbing tour about the real life of Neapolitans! Our guide was the wonderful Valeria of 'Around with a Local'. Whilst weaving in and out of the streets and alleys of the Spanish quarter, Valeria showed us local street art, shrines to Maradona, introduced us to some really cool local bars and told us many great stories from Naples colourful history as well a few interesting folklore legends.
To top off the tour we went on a very special boat trip around the Castel dell'Ovo (sipping a few vinos whilst taking in the wonderful views)!
Valeria's humour and energy is super infectious! Her enthusiasm for sharing her city with visitors is very apparent and made it seem like a more personalised tour compared to many on offer in Naples! I also met a lovely American couple during the tour and the whole group was so at ease it felt like I was hanging out with a group of really great friends!

Valeria is a wonderful person, cheerful, fun and welcoming! Getting to know the popular neighborhoods of Naples with a person who grew up among the alleys is an experience that has nothing to do with a classic tourist guide. It makes you awaken your senses through typical Neapolitan smells, scents and tastes.

He hecho el tour de Valeria con unas amiga y nos ha encantado. Se nota que se ha criado en el barrio y da gusto conocerlo en primera persona con alguien de allí. Su amabilidad, simpatía y cercanía te transmiten toda la esencia de la ciudad de Nápoles y de su barrio en particular

Fuori dagli schemi della classica visita guidata, Valeria fa guardare i Quartieri Spagnoli con gli occhi di chi ci è nato e cresciuto, immergendoti nel lato più umano, familiare e intimo della bellissima rete di vicoli che caratterizzano il quartiere.
Passeggiando alla scoperta dei murales e dei luoghi simbolo dei QS, Valeria ti racconta momenti della sua infanzia per farti capire cosa fossero i quelartieri vent'anni fa, e, al termine della visita, ti sembrerà di averla fatta in compagnia di un'amica.
Imperdibile.

Een meer persoonlijke rondleiding kan bijna niet!
Valeria toont naast de bekende highlights van de buurt je ook haar persoonlijke verhalen en plaatsen, waaronder de ingang van 'haar' paleis.
En alles met een groot enthousiasme en de nodige humor.
We hadden een privé tour voor ons gezelschap van 12 vrienden/familieleden.
