Svelaria was such a fantastic guide. We learnt so much going around. She kept the teens entertained too. She also took us to places that had only just opened. She has done dogs herself in Pompeii and in Egypt etc, so she’s truly knowledgable. I had been around Pompeii 20 year ms earlier with no guide, I wouldn’t recommend that as you do not get to truly experience Pompeii and you can wander around aimlessly too and it’s a very large site. High recommend this tour and Svelaria, you couldn’t get a better guide.

I was in Pompeii with my family and friends and through a neighbor of mine, she advised me to take a tour with Svelaria. Her name is Ilaria Fiore and she is really a Pro, very prepared, one that leaves nothing behind, I did 3 hours with her and I took very few pictures at the excavations because it was really a pleasure to listen to her. Surely if I get the chance to do more tours, his name will be first on the list. Congratulations 👏🏼👏🏼

Ilaria was absolutely amazing! She is so knowledgeable and passionate about archeology and it shows in her guided tours. She managed to bring to life the world of Pompeii. She was very open to answering questions and took note of the heat and how it may effect me and our tour. She is a wonderful guide and an ever sweeter human being! I would recommend any of her tours! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ilaria is a passionate archeologist who can share her knowledgein a very interesting way. We started the tour at the amphitheater entrance - far away from the big tourist groups; that was really nice to walk through the ruins in this less crowded area.
For my 21-year-old son (normally not that interested in historic topics), it was the best visit we had during our vacation. I also enjoyed it very much. I recommend the tour without any hesitation!

I went to Pompeii for an organized visit with work colleagues. We are restorers and I relied on Svelaria by Ilaria Fiore because it was recommended by a friend. The guide made available was Dr. Cristina Napolitano, a highly trained person who led us impeccably on the tour of the excavations, taking us to the most interesting and astonishing places in the archaeological area with truly superior competence and professionalism. The superior level of guides compared to the average is truly evident.
I will definitely always rely on Svelaria for future tours.

Our guide took us on a gentle tour through the ruins of Pompeii. We were a mixed age group from grandparents through to primary school children. She explained significant sites very well and answered the many questions she was asked thoroughly. Her intimate knowledge of the site was reflected in her commentary. It was a wonderful experience to be part of small group with such a knowledgeable guide.

“Svelaria”/Ilaria was a fabulous, informed, articulate guide - we could have spent all day with her. She was professional from the outset from making the booking, all the way to the end. She went at our pace and was full of admiration for Pompeii even as she must visit it so often - her #1 tour request. Grazie mille Ilaria. See you again soon.
