Fantastic place to visit. Such a massive place you need a good few hours if you want to see all of it. Amazing how well restored and preserved it is with plenty work still ongoing

Bought these ahead of time. We got to Pompei early and it was easy to find the tour operator to get these tickets as explained in the email I received. The lines to buy tickets weren't super long when we were there but it was nice to grab them from the tour operator and just walk in.

Once we got the tickets it was very straight forward. However, the emails weren’t clear on how to get the tickets or where to meet our tour operator. We spoke to 3 different people at various gates/locations around the site who were pretty unhelpful - one even told us to go back to the train station which we’d just paid €15 euros for a taxi from. In the end we stumbled upon a clipboard with the tour operators name on and after standing next to it for a few minutes wondering what to do we were finally approached my a lady who gave us our tickets. When we booked the tickets the time stated 11.30 but when we turned up it seemed there wasn’t a set time and we could’ve arrived whenever. Apart from the mix up at the beginning it was a great experience and would recommend.

We are sorry you're not 100% fine with your experience.
However we'd like to specify that:
- our customer service (and viator as well) do sent at time of booking by email any kind of instruction about how to recognize us, meeting and redeeming point, info on how to reach the meeting point.
We also specify where to meet exactly since we understand Pompeii has 3 different entrances and it's very vast site of course, it's an entire Roman city preserved.
if you needed to catch a taxi that means that you took the wrong public transportation service, not suggested by us and got in the wrong entrance, So we are not responsible for confusion, mystakes.
We do provide all specific information on purpose to help as much as possibile before the travel, even if everything is anyway well descript on the product's page.
if you double check your communication/email about this product I'm sure you'll find all the info you were looking for.
For people you asked around, of course they are people of our staff and since we are a private company we cannot be responsable of some wrong indication of random people around.
if you need help you should call or write us an email to our customer service which is anytime ready to help and assist with great guys at operation. We would have gave to you in one minute all the necessary help but unfortunately we did not receive any call or message.
Please next time do not hesitate, we are always at our traveler disposal to help.
I'm sorry if you experience confusion and mystakes on your travel to Pompeii an reach the meeting point on which we unfortunately we're not related to our service or experience

Splendida visita agli scavi di Pompe grazie alle spiegazioni di Sergio, che per due ore ci ha fatto vedere i posti più affascinanti degli Scavi (ad es., la Casa degli Amanti). Da non perdere!

Bene organizzato il ritiro biglietti, con il punto di ritrovo ben visibile in piazza. Molto simpatica e competente la guida. Splendido tour nell’incredibile ed incantevole ambiente degli scavi

Tutto bene. Tra l'altro uno dei pochi aspetti positivi di questo brutto periodo covid è che si possono godere monumenti senza ressa di turisti.

Aucune information précise ni repère arrivés sur place
Je voulais annuler les deuxbillets payés avant mon voyage mais j ai craint le non remboursement et l arnaque
J'aurais dû...
J ai obtenu les billets d entree grace au dévouement et la sympathie de l italien au guichet
J ai perdu une dizaine d euros par rapport au prixofficiel
Merci de me rembourser la différence voire la totalité pour désagrément

Nous sommes vraiment désolés que votre expérience n'ait pas été positive. Les files d'attente pour la mesure de la température et les récentes règles de distanciation sociale ont rendu un peu difficile la collecte des billets certains jours bondés. Nous nous excusons beaucoup pour la gêne occasionnée.

You can just turn up but sometimes the queues for tickets are long especially in summer. We booked skip the line to avoid waiting.
