A super experience. Mariella guided the four of us through Assisi and Orvieto, and we saw and learned so much that we could not have discovered on our own. The four of us were able to quickly access key sites much more effectively than any of the large tours which I saw.
Worth the $$ - highly recommend.

We had a really wonderful time with Nunzia. My partner and I ended up being the only two people on this excursion and it was absolutely worth it. Nunzia was hyper-engaged and managed to keep us entertained and informed from the moment we got started. She came to meet us at our apartment and the pickup and drop off situation couldn’t have been easier. The weather unfortunately was not so great but a good portion of the tour included indoor excursions that let us hide from the weather. Despite getting a little cold and wet, I’d take this tour again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great day!

Both Assisi & Orvieto exceeded our expectations. These destinations were quite an experience, and very worthwhile. Debora was a delightful guide, interesting, interested, informative and educational. We truly enjoyed her company and the clear joy she seemed to give in talking to us. Driver had excellent reflexes and abilities, BUT he dominated conversion in the car in Italian 70% of the time, excluding us (which we consider very rude); at high speed disconcertingly gestured to our guide beside him often with both hands off the wheel; again at high speed often disconcertingly turned to guide to make points (with eyes off road); again at high speed made hand-held mobile phone calls; and once entered vehicle smelling like a tobacco factory.

Thank you Debora for your guide during our tour to Asis and Orvieto, thank you for your patience with us. We really enjoyed your company. Gian Luca, our amazing driver, thank you for driving us safely. We were very surprised to see how you drive in those little streets of Orvieto.
Thanks to both of you who made this trip unforgettable.
If you are thinking of traveling to Italy, you should think about including this tour in your travel plans. Assisi is a beautiful medieval city with the plus of being a city that transmits peace.

This semi-private tour was all it was offered to be and much more. We were fortunate when traveling in early October to be the only tourists booked for this and so our tour was a private one. David our driver got us to and from with ease and our tour guide magnifico, Luke, was a gentlemen and a scholar. He was humble, reverend and very learned in the history of our destinations as well as Italian history and religion in general. We felt like we were treated like family and Luke's fervor at his delivery of services was refreshing and memorable. He went above and beyond the scope of the tour and we were truly impressed by the sites to be seen and the history behind those sites. So worth every penny...can't say enough about our tour guide...he made our day the best of all the days we spent in Italy. Thank you Luke!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Vittoria. This tour surpassed all our expectations. Vittoria answered all of our questions and provided in-depth and interesting information about Assisi, Orvieto, the history of the papacy and a myriad of other topics related to Italian history and culture. She also found a wonderful place for lunch, and she was gracious enough to join us for an even more personal visit. She drove very carefully - especially through all the windy, hilly Italian roads in the rain.
We could not have asked for a more wonderful day with Vittoria.

The car that picked us up in Rome was a Mercedes. It had a trunk but I am not sure if a scooter would fit if it did not fold to TSA approved size.
