取票地点离斗兽场很远的，出发前看到网页提示还门票只能适用于6月4号以后入场！误导我取消还门票，给客服写了邮件要求退款，客服回复说可以改日期或给予100%退款，我回复要求退款，可一直没收到退款

We took the train from Rome which was a nice option. The Ostia ruins covered a larger area than expected. After this three week tour in Italy, I am firmly convinced that having a guide is the only way to understand archeological sites. The books only provide 10%. See Ostia before Pompeii. Not saying you shouldn't go to Ostia but nothing compares to Pompeii. Our guide was excellent. our first booking in Ostia was cancelled due to low interest (off season) so we hired Mea for a private and were very happy. It's interesting to note that this area was seaport even though you don't see water nearby currently.

see above, we very disappointed that this tour was missed because it was raining.
This was the tour I most wanted to do but unfortunately we had to get to Pyramide Metro by 8.15am and being such bad weather thought it would be miserable trying to hold up umbrellas and try to take photos at the same time.

My husband and I booked this tour for a quick day trip while we were visiting Rome on our honeymoon. We had instructions to meet at the train station and there would be a person there holding a sign with "Mea tours". We got to the train station 15 minutes before the suggested meet time. We woke up early, got ready, and paid a cab to be there on time. We were very panicked and frustrated as the meet up time came and went and we were frantically looking for the person we were supposed to be meeting- never found them. There was another train leaving in 10 minutes so we went ahead and bought the train tickets for the both of us since we were already there and really wanted to see Ostia Antica. Once we arrived at Ostia, there was no one in sight that appeared to be giving a tour. We went ahead and bought our tickets and decided to do the audio guide. That night when we arrived home I emailed Mea Tours asking to get a refund as we were not able to find their rep. Their reply was basically "sorry no one told you, this tour was cancelled".... Seriously?! We are in a foreign city that is tough to navigate/communicate with others, paid money for the tour upfront, paid money to take a cab to be there with plenty of time to spare and you can't even communicate that it was cancelled?! Save yourself frustration and book with someone else (or save the money and do the audio guide, which we found plenty informative!)
