Honestly, Valentina was wonderful and we had the most delightful time exploring Rome’s local foods. We took our niece, 17, and nephew, 16, as a graduation gift to Italy which in itself was an adventure. We went on multiple tours while traveling in Italy and Valentina’s food tour was, by far, their favorite. Valentina really took the time to engage them specifically and made it extra special which my wife and I truly appreciated. Since she grew up in Rome, Valentina has a true love affair of the local community and their food which is so evident. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our time but simply put, Valentina has a beautiful spirit with a passion for her community and the food she grew up eating! Ciao Valentina

This tour absolutely made our day. We got caught in a terrible storm and Massimo was flexible with our starting point so that we had time to get dry clothes! Communicating through the app was very easy. He was extremely knowledgeable and told us about many subtle aspects of Rome we would have overlooked otherwise. It was beautiful to walk around Rome in the evening. We appreciated learning about the food we were tasting and we were full by the end of the tour! Massimo also gave us great advice on where else to eat in Rome.

We had a wonderful tour with Francesca, she took us to so many wonderful places and found us so many delicious things to eat and drink, from balsamic vinegar to fabulous gelato and everything in-between. She was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable and the time passed really quickly as we were enjoying the tour so much.

We had booked the food tour with Roberto. We had an awesome and relaxed time with Roberto, he is so engaging and funny. He showed us very nice places, great food and really gave us some taste of Roman “Dolce Vita”. We would absolutely re-book the food tour with Roberto or any other tour with him.

Francesca was a wonderful guide. We explored the food scene in Trastevere with a group of 8 with two very small children and two other children in tow. The food was delicious and Francesca was full of history and knowledge of the how the food was made, the traditions behind it, and interesting variations. Grazzie Francesca!

A great small group experience where you get to taste what the locals eat. Along your food tasting journey, Francesca will add the historical significance of the area and cultural background of the food. She was a passionate, knowledgeable guide whom I highly recommend.

I researched a long time to choose a food tour and a host and I'm happy to say that Matteo's excellent reviews are accurate. He is friendly, flexible, and fun. You'll be so glad you booked his tour!

We feel completely conned due to the following reasons:
Preview of the event: We were brought forward 30 minutes without warning, which caused us several inconveniences.
Duration of the event: Although the itinerary specified a longer duration, the event ended an hour ahead of schedule.
Number of places visited: The itinerary promised 10 sites to try, however, we only visited 4. In addition, the portions offered at each location were tiny and of low quality.
Language of the tour: The tour was supposed to be in Spanish, but the Guide spoke mainly in English, hindering our understanding and enjoyment of the event.
Since the experience did not deliver as promised and we were completely dissatisfied, I request a full refund of the amount paid. Guide was called gianmaria

I was a client. I suggest you have the food tour done not on a Sunday when many shops are closed. Also try to use a guide that has received glowing reviews. For this tour there are several different guides.

There was a lot of walking, and the roads in Italy are uneven, many are cobblestone. I would not recommend this if you do not enjoy lots of walking. Hopefully you can find an experience which is a better fit for you.

The tour lasted 3 hours, with a lot of walking, but other than that I don’t see any problems at all taking a 12yr old.
All dietary requirements were discussed right at the start of the tour.
I don’t actually know how much the tour cost as it was a surprise from my husband so I suggest checking their website.
We specifically enjoyed the tour being exclusive to us rather than being part of a large group. Sara really gave us a personal tour which was great.

I believe the latest time that the tour can be booked is 1:30 PM as your tour takes about 2.5 - 3 hours with the tasting and walking. Very interesting way to visit Rome...
