"Skip the lines" It's a big scam, do not waste your money. When we showed up at the booked places 15 minutes earlier as required, they asked us to wait far from the area and come back at the appointment time. When we're back they asked us to line up with the rest of the people, There is no exclusive line for Omnia Card holders.

Total waste of time, energy, money!!! Avoid this pass if u want to be stress-free in Rome. It's very difficult to find the ORP center in St. Peter's Basilica. The vatican museum vouchers doesn't work. The colosseum is really far & only 1 tent available for u claim ur ticket. Not tourist friendly.

I, who am not in the habit of being a pigeon, recognize that this is a big scam that I have fallen into. There aren't necessarily any slots to reserve the supposedly included attractions, so you have to buy a ticket in addition to this practically useless pass. No skipping the line for St Peter's Basilica which is also free! The pass is used for the audio guide. I went to complain and was told that it included an “audio guide package”, superb.

A total waste on money. Especially buying 4 tickets. Without reservation the pass gets you no where. St. Peter’s was a 3 hour rate and not possible to skip the line. We did manage to get a reservation for Vatican museum and when we finally made it to The Sistine Chapel we were not able to stop as there were too many people in the chapel and were ushered out by Vatican staff, wishing I had read more reviews before purchasing the passes. The last time we were in Rome (2017) no reservations were required. I recommend another way of visiting the attractions (your guide)

The omnia pass is a complete financial scam! For us at least 60 euros more than if we had taken our tickets 1 by 1 and in addition we only had low-end entries with the pass, no audio guide included. And for our son it cost us twice as much as if we had taken his tickets because 59 euros for free entry everywhere except the Vatican and the ticket was less than 20 euros if we had taken it on site! TO FLEE

The OMNIA Card pass is a complete scam. To flee ! They falsely claim to be an agency of the Vatican which they are not, indicate as included in the pass visits which are not (like the cloister of the basilica of St Paul outside the walls), require reservations for visits which are in fact free and where reservation is not obligatory like Saint Peter's Basilica (which, to make matters worse, was in fact closed at the time we had to reserve). The staff at the agency near Place St Pierre are also seriously aggressive if you allow yourself to complain. Take, directly and separately, only the Roma Pass (very good) and the tickets for the Vatican; you will save 60Euros.

Card acquired a month ago but additional reservations required to be made on separate sites and partly already inaccessible.
Arrival on the 24th at 3:45 p.m. at the Vatican to collect the card I needed for a visit Tuesday morning the 26th at 9:30 a.m. to the Colosseum. Computers closed and hostesses already in coats, explaining to me that I only have to come back Tuesday at 9 a.m. at a time that is not compatible with the visit.
In summary, complex and random reservations. limited withdrawal conditions (5 offices announced but only 2 active) and schedules not respected. Lack of customer awareness. To avoid!

We arrived in Rome and having our hotel near the Vatican we should have been able to collect our passes up until 4pm from the office at Piazza Pio XII. However..No!! It was closed, no explanation and the little booth opposite could not issue our cards so we lost a day because of poor customer service. We did get them the next day with no apology. All in all the pass is expensive and I would recommend plan your visits in advance before even considering buying this poor value experience. Expedia, who I purchased the tickets through, could not get a refund either so I would not recommend them either.

I had several questions about booking slots and how to see some visits are still available.
- As we need to collect the pass (Omnia Card or Roma Pass) in the office in Rome, can we book our visit immediately after buying the pass or do we need to collect it before ?
- How can we be sure that there are still visiting slots for our dates? Do we need to check before buying the pass ? I saw that for example the site coopculture indicates available slot for Colosseum but what about Vatican museum for Omnia card ? How can we check ?

We are brand new to international travel, planning a trip to Rome this year. Last summer in London, we had Hop On Hop Off tickets and the buses barely moved due to overwhelming traffic. We wasted valuable sight-seeing time when we could have just gotten off, ridden the Tube, and gotten there much faster - which we eventually did. My question is this - Is there a similar situation in Rome? Would we be better to travel their subway (about which I know nothing) rather than the Hop On Hop Off? Thank you!

You will have a similar experience in Rome. There are two different Hop On/Hop Off bus companies. We purchased the yellow line (there also is a red bus company) and only road it once in the week we were there. We love to walk and there is so much to see in Rome, that we didn't find the bus ride worthwhile. If I were to do it again, I would consider the red bus line.
Also a word of caution for you if you are planning to tour the Sistine Chapel, Vatican, Vatican Museum. This was the biggest disappointment for our entire 10 WEEK visit to Italy. We spent over $100 per person to tour these sites. There are MOBS of people there (we were there in early October). The tour guide pushed us through the Vatican Museum. She kept apologizing and said it wasn't her fault. I believe it wasn't her fault, but they sell way too many tickets to these sites. They are packed with people. I would advise you to be the first tour of the day (starts around 7AM) if you choose to go.

Cher Romain, si vous prévoyiez de visiter le Vatican, la basilique Saint-Pierre, la chapelle Sixtine et les musées du Vatican qui sont dedans, il vaut mieux prendre la carte omnia 72h et sans hésiter ! Lorsque que nous sommes partis à Rome mon fils et moi au mois de septembre dernier, j'en ai pris deux (mon fils va avoir 18 ans). Nous avons pas mal économisé avec cette carte et l'effet coupe fils est garantie ! Nous avons gagné un temps précieux, en presque 4 jours nous avons fait pas mal de choses. Effectivement nous avons pas mal anticipé et organisé notre petit séjour. Pour info, il faut effectivement réserver le Colisée en plus de la carte OMNIA si vous la prenez. C'est bien sur le site coop culture que vous devez aller pour réserver les cartes OMNIA, moyennant 2 € de plus par personne, mais c'est un passage obligé. Pour le Vatican, vous n'avez pas besoin de réserver, si vous prenez la carte OMNIA, imprimez vos bons de réservation et on vous indique dessus comment aller récupérer vos précieuses cartes dans 3 points stratégiques une fois sur place à Rome. Lorsque vous serez à l'un des 3 points où il faut récupérer les cartes, une dame sympa (c'est sur qui nous sommes tombés lorsque nous y sommes allés), qui nous a tout expliqué tout ce qu'on pouvait faire avec les cartes et c'est elle qui nous a réservé le jour qu'on voulait pour les visiter le Vatican. La visite du Vatican s'est passée pour nous de la façon suivante (en ayant nos cartes omnia) : nous avons d'abord visiter la basilique Saint-Pierre, de 9h30 à 11h45 et nous avons aussi pu visiter la coupole tout en haut de la basilique Saint-Pierre, mais il y a un supplément de 10€ chacun, c'est normal c'est une option qui ne fait partie d'aucunes cartes. Cela dit, ça vaut le coup d'oeil et nous n'avons pas regretté ! Ensuite, à partir de 12h et jusqu'à l'heure que nous avons voulu, nous avons visiter la chapelle Sixtine et les musées du Vatican. Nous avons du rester de 12h environ jusquà 15h. Bref, prenez la carte OMNIA ! De mon côté, pour notre séjour à Rome, j'ai réservé le vol+hôtel avec petit déjeuner ainsi que les carte OMNIA sur le site voyages sncf. Je vous le recommande si vous n'avez pas encore réservé votre séjour, c'est un site bon rapport qualité prix. J'ai aussi pris sur ce site le transfert aéroport/hôtel, hôtel/aéroport allers/retours en bus commun, pour mon fils et moi moyennant 18 €. Voilà, si j'ai pu vous aider, j'en suis ravie. Bonne soirée.

The Omni book lists all the places that are included. Some places like the Vatican and Vatican Museums are included but you have to make a reservation which you do when you pick up your book. Their are two books / passes they sell, get both books/ passes and it will cover all the places as well as hop off and on bus .

Yo personalmente las recogi en la Plaza Pio XII y sin ningún problema. Si no has escogido turno para la visita a los museos vaticanos etc.. Lo tienes que hacer alli.
