Compramos entrada ok lime para evitar colas. Error!! No evita nada. Y nada menos el doble de caro q comprarlas un situ. Hordas (literal) de visitantes, permitido por el propio Vsticsno, rozando la irresponsabilidad. Horroroso!! Tras un tortuoso recorrido, en la capilla Sixtina N O NOS permitieron más de 1 minuto!!!!!! Abarrotada de gente, y solo nos permitieron “entrsr y salir “

Skip the line is the way to go. There is so much to see, that I do not recommend combining the Sistine Chapel tour and the Colosseum tour together. Its just way too much on the body.

We got a lot of great information from our guide. The only downfall was we felt rushed through the Sistine Chapel and felt like herded cattle the entire time. We traveled in early May, so it wasn't even the height of the tourist season. I can't imagine doing this peak season. Our tour guide was conscientious and very knowledgeable. It's the logistics of the place that was lacking. Poor traffic flow.

We took the 3 hour tour through the Museum, Sistine Chapel & St Peters Cathedral.
Fabio was a terrific guide; very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was not rushed at all, and there was plenty of time for questions and for observing the many historical artifacts.
We highly recommend this tour & Fabio.

Our guide Romina was super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Romina was at the agreed upon meeting place promptly at the right time and she made sure we were able to see everything we wanted. She was very good at explaining the grounds, artwork and history of everything we saw. Great way to visit the Vatican!

We had the most incredible day on this tour. Cristiana was our tour guide. She was extremely personable and there was nothing she didn’t know. We received so much valuable information that we could never have found out on our own or in a large group tour.
We skipped past all the queues and could go at a pace convenient to us and ask any questions along the way necessary to get the most out of this experience.
Also, we had disruptions to our flights on arrival and was actually going to miss the tour we were booked on. Viator were very accommodating and prompt and helpful in rebooking this for us.

Finding the meeting point was really time consuming given that we walked to our meeting point (our accommodations were not on a metro line). That said, had we been travelling by metro, the meeting point would have been super convenient!
Our guide Robert Huber was brilliant. The man is brilliant. A Phd candidate and a professor. I can't wait to read his thesis! Lucky us to have such an academic and entertaining tour. We couldn't have asked for any more or for anyone better! I loved every minute of the tour. I have a Masters degree in Fine Art and a background in architecture. This was my second time visiting these sites with a guide, but my first with Through Eternity. I felt like a university student again with the excitement of the place and with the enthusiasm of our impassioned professor!. HIs love of the history of the place, for story telling, and for sharing his knowledge was phenomenal and infectious! He was so engaging with each member of our 13 person tour. Robert is profoundly knowledgeable and a consummate professional educator. We instantly knew we were in the best of hands and he was passionate about teaching us and entertaining us so as to make the place come alive. These sites are overwhelming and Robert was able to focus on key places and pieces and masterfully weave them all together with his brilliant story telling and intellect. He worked to ensure our experience and our appreciation of such incredibly interesting and fascinating spaces was comprehensive and comprehensible. He clearly wanted our experience to be educational, and personal and that's what he delivered! He was fabulous. Pity there was no film crew to follow us around and then offer his presentation and the site to a larger audience! Robert is brilliant!!! And the site is.... well.....!!!!!!!!! Thank you Robert! I was soooo lucky to have you for a guide a second time round! Robert was also my guide for a portion of my tour of the Colosseum in May 2017! If I am ever fortunate enough to get back to Rome again, I will most certainly take another Through Eternity Tour and I will hope to have you or your colleague Gracelyn Monaco as my guide again! Brilliant!!!

We are in Rome from April 17th and back to Budapest on April 24th.. Want to see the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Would also like to see other attractions with little wating. What is your opinion of the La Piccola hotel or the Hotel Morgana? What is the best transportation to and from the airport? Might be interested in a day trip outside of Rome.
