We couldn't have been happier with our experience and with our tour guide, Cecilia. She was knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. We felt we really got to know the city in multiple dimensions on an intimate level. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

We had the best time seeing Rome with Matteo. Our family has kids ranging from 7 to 14 and everyone had a great experience. It is so easy to book and they are responsive throughout the process, even following up after to make sure it was a good time. Having never been to Rome, I was nervous booking a tour online, but have no hesitations! Our guide Matteo was so energetic and is so knowledgeable. You could tell he loves the history of Rome and sharing it with others. We booked this tour for one day and the underground tour of Rome for kids the next day. We were so excited on day 2 when Matteo showed up as our tour guide again. Thanks to all for a wonderful time in Rome!

Ha sido una experiencia increíble, recorrer Roma con una guía es totalmente diferente. La guía Arianna es una gran profesional y sabía realmente mucho de los lugares visitados, brindando un conocimiento único e inolvidable. Highly highly recommend this tour company.. the guides were exceptional. We had a group of 20 and if anyone has ever traveled with that many people, you know it requires a lot of patience!!! The guides were great and very accommodating..
This is a one day tour but we arrived to Rome early afternoon so the company allowed us to break up the tour in two days. We could not be more pleased.
Thank you!!! Italy is a magical place and our stay in Rome was that much better because we went on this tour.

We did a 7 hour private tour with our guide Matteo who was fantastic!! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Rome; we learned so many incredible facts! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him as he explained the history behind each site we visited. The Colosseum,Spanish Steps, St Peter's Basilica, Circus Maximus, Trevi Fountain, The Vatican and the Forum all came alive as Matteo told us about the history and significance of each of these incredible places. I really enjoyed this tour-there is no better way to see Rome than with a private guide! Excellent tour!!

We enjoyed a wonderful one-day tour of Rome. We were picked up by our driver at the cruise port in Civitavecchia and taken to Rome, where we met our guide. We toured the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Coliseum, all in about five hours. Because we had a knowledgable private guide, with line-skipping privileges, we were able to accomplish all of that in five hours, plus have time for a late-afternoon pasta lunch.

My wife and I were in Rome for just a couple of days and we wanted to see as much as possible. We spent one full day on a private tour and it was phenomenal. Not only did we see the major attractions - Vatican, Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and others - we learned a lot of history. Our guide Dora was so knowledgeable and was able to add so much detail about the historical significance of what we were seeing. It was fun, interesting, and without a doubt one of the best tours we have ever taken. This is absolutely the best way to see Rome and if you can arrange to spend your day with Dora it will be perfect!

We had a great day with Matteo. Even though it was tough for our 5 year old to walk as much as she had to, it was worth walking from Vatican to the other parts of Rome as we learned a lot along the way.
Was an excellent way to spend the day! We could not have absorbed 1/4 as much if we had gone with a larger group. It was so nice having Matteo all to ourselves for the day!

I cannot praise our tour and guide highly enough. We did the Rome in a day tour with our two children aged 9 and 13 as we had limited time in Rome and thought this would be the best way to see the highlights - and it was. Our guide Elleny (spelling could be wrong, sorry) was phenomenal. She was able to keep the children interested with age appropriate information whilst also giving the adults more detailed commentary. She had an amazing ability to get to the front on any queue so that we had the best vantage point. With the tour came front of line passes - these were an absolute must. We were able to avoid the majority of lines which is no meant feat given the vast number of tourists at all the sights. Highly, highly recommend.
Also - should mention that we had a car for part of the tour. Given we travelled in the middle of summer this was also a life saver. Thanks to our lovely driver Raphael.

We did the Rome in a Day private tour with Mateo as our guide and we also added a driver for three hours. It was fantastic. I can't say enough good things. It was my husband and I, and our two kids who are 6 and 7. Mateo taught us so much, seemed truly interested in what he was saying and kept our kids engaged for the entire day which is no easy feat. He was prepared for everything in addition to being knowledgable. We liked doing the Rome in a Day tour specifically because we didn't want to have a time commitment of doing a shorter separate tour every day. We wanted to get a feel for the major sites and the city on our first full day there, and then do our own thing the rest of the time and it worked out really well. It made for a long day, but we didn't ever feel rushed or bored. We felt it was money well spent because our day was so organized and we had no lines or disorganization to deal with so we could really focus on what we were seeing and learning. Our kids have repeatedly said in the days following our tour that they wished Mateo could go with us everywhere. Also, I wasn't sure about the three hours of a private driver, but that was worth it at well. Mateo made sure he was waiting for us right away after each site, and the A/C in the van was a fantastic thing to have on a July day in Rome. If you're considering it, definitely go for it!
