Friday evening, February 17, my wife and I witnessed a fantastic opera performance at Terrazza Borromini, Sala Innocenzo X, Piazza Navona, with soprano Paola Alonzi, tenor Francescantonio Bille and pianist Taehee Kim. It is a very special and powerful experience to be able to listen to such outstanding opera artists from three meters away. I would highly recommend this incredible show.

Absolutely phenomenal! Easy to get to, seating was well organized. The performance and setting are the stuff of fairytales or movies. I consider this a 100% Must-Do in Rome.

What can i say apart from " BRAVO". This was the most amazing experiance. I was overcome with emotion from the voices of these wonderfull singers to the venue. I went with my son who is not really into opera but he loved it also. It was my dream and it did not dissapoint. One of the highlights of our trip and a memory i will treasure.

Mit einer Freundesgruppe, insgesamt 14 Personen, war ich im Oktober in Rom. Im Verlauf dieser Reise waren wir auch bei der von „OperaOmnia“ angebotenen Opernveranstaltung. Gefunden habe ich das im Internet: Man kann dies über zum Beispiel „Get your Guide“ buchen oder aber auch direkt (der bessere Weg!). Zunächst einmal, billig ist es nicht – es kostet pro Person um die 120 Euro, die sich aber AUF JEDEN FALL lohnen. Es wird VIEL geboten. Ich beginne mit den Sängern: Die sympathische Sopranistin heißt Paola Alonzi, der Tenor Francescantonio Bille; begleitet werden sie von einem Pianisten. Das Programm bietet all die Arien, die man (sofern man der „Oper“ etwas abgewinnen kann) kennt und die einem normalerweise gut gefallen. Angefangen mit La Bohème, über Gianni Schicchi („O mio babbino caro”) bis zu La Traviata; es ist alles dabei! Und WO findet das alles statt? Das ist wirklich vom Allerfeinsten, ganz oben nämlich auf der Dachterrasse des „Palazzo Pamphili“ über der Piazza Navona (man hat einen perfekten 360-Grad-Blick über GANZ Rom, schon das ist mindestens 50 Euro wert!). Vor den Gesangsdarbietungen gibt es Prosecco, Weißwein oder Rotwein mit Häppchen (Käse und Salami) – alles reichlich und nicht nur in mikroskopischen Mengen (wäre ja auch denkbar). RICHTIG gut! Für mich und meine Gruppe war es ein absolutes Highlight unserer Rom-Reise! Ein großes DANKE an Paola Alonzi und Francescantonio Bille!!

Finding the location was a bit challenging. The actual entrance is a short block off Piazza Navona. There is no signage to help. We ended up asking a couple of vendors.
The venue is at the top of the Palazzo Pamphili with a great view of the Piazza. The seating was very comfortable and they were generous with prosecco refills. The tenor and soprano singers were excellent. The focus was on favorites arias and even those not familiar with opera would enjoy the performance. Sunset was beautiful.

This was such a beautiful and unique experience. We’ve attended their concerts in the past in Rome - but this one as an open air concert overlooking Palazzo Navona will be hard to top. We even attended a zoom Christmas music event during the height of the pandemic that was wonderful. We admire Paola who organizes these events and is the wonderful soprano.

Zuerst: die Location der Terrazza Borromini hoch über der Piazza Navona ist sensationell und wäre immer einen Besuch wert.
Aber dazu noch die phantastischen Stimmen der Sänger mit einem Pianisten in einer ganz intimen Atmosphäre und die Auswahl der Arien zu genießen, macht den Abendauftakt einfach perfekt. Für Genießer ein Highlight Roms!

Why don't you update TripAdvisor with correct and detailed information under "important information" on how to find the entrance to the event? It's not in Piazza Navona! And the guy at the restaurant said this has been a problem for a long time! Even worse that you don't correct the information and level of details when it's a known problem!! We lost a big portion of the show booked thru my wife's TA account. Extremely irritated for a expensive overpriced show! Why dont you do all in your power to make sure your customers will have no problem finding the way - when they pay ridiculously amount of money to attend??? No refund offered! Why?
I have a kid with some walking and balance issues. He Can typically walk stairs with some assistance but how many flights or floor of stairs needed to get up terrace. Is there a lift?

It was an unforgettable evening!!! And I'm so grateful to Paola that this wonderful evening happened in my life! Just imagine yourself in the heart of Rome, on the terrace with a view to Piazza Navona (have you ever seen this Piazza from the height of birds' fly). And the singers are so close to you. They share with you their wonderful souls, the world which is inside of them. They are not only great singers, but also they are people with big hearts! When I listened to them the tears were in my eyes, shivers ran down my spine! If you go to Rome, do not hesitate, do not miss this amazing performance!!!
