Excellent tour and well worth booking. Email confirmation gives you a link for the address where to meet so that you get a pin on Google maps. Easy to find. Saves standing in the queues for tickets which can be quite long.
Our guide was Renata who was very knowledgeable and informative and also kept it light hearted and fun. Tour lasted about 3 hrs and the Colosseum and Palatin hill didn't disappoint!

Can’t fault the tour guide Barbara - she was very friendly and knowledgable.
However we feel that more breaks should be incorporated into the tour - possibly between leaving the Forum and going into the Colloseum - as just walking for three solid hours with no where to sit is very tiring

Would have been great except for tour guide let it down very badly. Guy scruffy with trousers hanging down and couldn’t work headsets so missed most of it. Book with a different company, I emailed them before this review but no response

guide could speak more clearly and loudly. rudimentary context for the information given, (i.e. time frame, political references, etc.)
my friend who is from Saudi Arabia and speaks English well, neverthelss had difficulty hearing and understanding the guide, as did I (a native English speaker).

Our guide was terrific. Very funny, informative and friendly. Unfortunately the tour was kinda rushed out and we were not spending too much time on the different areas. I mostly visit places without guides, but I wanted to tried it because I was with a friend. I thinks that even if there are way to many people in the areas of visit, the tour guide should keep the group in a more relaxed pace and focus in the group, in general.

We loved our tour, so glad we booked! Our guide was lovely and made the tour fun as well as factual. Sadly we can’t remember her name, but it did begin with a T! Would highly recommend, was great to skip the queue at the colosseum and enter via the gladiators entrance, hard to choose a favourite part but the colosseum is pretty special.

Where do we meet you? I booked another tour, prior to our cruise, and could never find them at the colosseum. I'm out $120. Is there a specific address/ location to meet?

We thought we could just show up at the colosseum since we had the tickets on the phone which was wrong. One must meet at the company office down the street. A bit confusing but it says clearly on the ticket so I just didn’t read it good enough. We had to run and just made it there in time.

I would be at your meeting place with your tour guide atleast 30 minutes early. The guides do a good job of keeping an accurate head count for the group. The guide takes the whole party together through the gates and the lines move quickly. They are very good at their jobs.
Is the “ Fast Track Entrance/Gladiator Door” the same as “skip-the-line” access? If they aren’t the same, please explain the difference. Thanks.
My family will be taking this tour following another 3 hour tour. Is it possible to break off from the tour guide in the forum/palatine hill? Would we still be able to gain access to the palatine hill if we break off from the guide in the forum?

Echoing what SteveP said, you can break off while in Forum/Palatine, but you have to be with the guide to get access to the Colosseum. Our order was Forum/Palatine/Colosseum, so our guide was very concerned with keeping us together and on schedule, so we could get into the C at our assigned timeslot.
