Roberto was a fantastic tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and explained the fascinating history of the Colosseum in a way that was easy to follow and understand. He made it humourous and fun, making the experience very enjoyable. It was great being able to skip the line and have our own private tour guide for just us 2. We would definitely recommend this tour!

This was the perfect tour for us having to tour with teenagers. Roberto, our guide, was awesome! He was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. Roberto was able to tell us a lot about the history - including a lot of funny and interesting side stories. We left feeling like we learned a lot but our children weren’t burnt out- like we know they would have been on a 3 hour tour. Loved it! Thank you for the memorable experience, Roberto!

Amazing guide. Knowledgeable. Funny. Personable. The most Roman man we ever met. He really brought the Colosseum to life as an icon of the Roman Empire, and an element of Italian history. Took the time to know all the guests and make it fun for each of them. Very naturally gifted for the job.

Excellent communications from Terese in the head office. We added a note about our 8 year old and they were able to place us in a small private tour. Also able to send us digital tickets that morning, so we could use them in Roman Forum and Palatine Hill before joining the Colosseum tour.
Our guide was there early and was somehow able to both keep our 8 year old daughter engaged whilst fascinating us! She clearly had a truly deep knowledge of the site. Easily answering any strange questions we had. The history, development, layout, it’s use and restoration all became clear, whilst not loosing any of the romance and sheer awe. Even managing to split well established facts from fiction, or what was less well known or had few historical references.
A very special experience that we will treasure as a family.

Excellent tour!! The private one hour tour allowed us to skip all the crazy long lines and get to the heart of the colosseum! Roberto provided us with so much background information about this amazing amphitheatre and made the experience fun and interactive!! He spoke excellent English and was very easy for us Americans to understand! Highly recommended!!

I was in Rome for a very short stay in a last-minute thing. Most companies I contacted for a tour were sold out or not available Theresa of 7 Hills Tours was phenomenal. Although most of her tours were sold out, she looked around until she found a guide, Scott who could take me around. We ended up doing an evening tour and it was absolutely amazing. Scott was knowledgable and fun and very reasonably priced.
