Book this Tour
Our guide was fabulous! He was very informative and offered a great sense of humor. We appreciated having someone guide us through the busy places and sharing the history.

cancelled short notice

Booked and paid for this tour well in advance. cancelled just before travel, not seen any money returned, emails not being answered, no alternative organised, terrible service, ruined our travel plans

Good but not quite as advertised.

Overall very good but was told that ‘This tour includes access up to the 2nd tier’ however that part was just forgotten off our tour. Very disappointed to think you must do that but at the end then just ushered out the exit.

Small Group Tour Colosseum Underground/Roman Forum/Palatine Hill
Our tour guide was Rosy & she was an absolute gem! It was just our family of 5 on the tour so we had her undivided focus. Rosy was extremely knowledgeable & passionate about all things Ancient Rome & we enjoyed learning so much! She was very engaging & answered all questions. She carried illustrations that showed the Forum/Palatine Hill/Colosseum as they appeared back in time to help us visualize when we looked at the ruins. Rosy was very skilled at navigating us through the crowds. We were with her for over 3 hours & enjoyed every minute, even the scattered rain showers. I would highly recommend this particular tour. It was really good & Rosy was excellent.

Small group Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum tour

Fabulous tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide called Patrik. The small group was perfect and we had lots of time to explore the areas we visited. We had been advised about a week before the tour that we couldn't access the Underground part of the Colosseum due to high numbers of visitors but were given choices of either cancelling the tour, going back in the evening to visit the Underground or having a partial refund, which we opted for and were refunded without us having to take any action. The tour lasted around 3 hours and it was incredible value. Would definitely recommend.

Underground colosseum, forum and palentine hill
Valeria was our extremely knowledgeable guide for the afternoon. She really brought the history alive with her knowledge, inter linking historical events and their importance to this day.

Our tour was initially set for 13:30 but due to the crowding we were advised two days before that it would be an hour later starting than planned, now at 14:30. This was fine by us since it was plenty of notice.

We did the tour backwards which started at the palentine hill then onto the forum, finally finishing in the colosseum. This worked out great actually because we got left to wander after the tour inside the colosseum rather than moving onto the next part of the tour.

We can’t rate Valeria highly enough. She was lovely and really brought the history alive.

Great tour with Arthuro
We had a great tour with Arthuro. They had to change from underground a few days out but communicated well. The morning of our tour there was a lot of confusion from the city because they were blocking areas for the finish of the bike race. Make sure to always leave early for getting to a tour. I loved it all and Arthuro was fantastic but I realized after we never got the most iconic view and picture of the Forum. I don’t know if thats because we had to wait for others to join us multiple times and never got to that section, but that was only disappointment. Also appreciated Arthuro stopping a tourist he saw from carving in the Colosseum wall. We all cheered for him. Don’t be that person that goes and disrespects 2000+ year old sites. I was glad it wasn’t a fellow American

Coloseum Underground tour plus Roman Forum &

The Colosseum and Roman ForumTour was amazing. Our guide was so knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor as well. We loved being able to tour the lower levels. We also loved how our small group could maneuver around the huge tour groups.

Amazing Experience!

Claudia was excellent and very informative. Even thought it was raining, we still had a great time exploring the underground of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill with her. There were changes to the entry time of the Colosseum at no fault of the tour company and they were quick to communicate that to us.
