Good experience
It was a really simple process; we only needed to pick up the tickets and not the guide. The night before our visit, the tickets were electronically distributed. They were helpful, and it's all right. While we were a little early, the staff person was already present. None of us had to wait.

We started our day with a pickup at our VRBO in Rome by Leonardo. He drove us safely to Positano, first, where we shopped, ate lunch, and enjoyed the beach. We then drove to Pompeii where we were met by Lello. It was amazing to see his enthusiasm for making this one of the best and most informative tours I've ever experienced. He even refunded some of our costs due to one of our party unable to make the trip due to a death in her family. Leonardo then delivered us safely back to our VRBO in Rome.

We had an amazing trip!!! Veronica was extremely helpful and responsive in helping me schedule this last minute trip and tour. She arranged everything through email, which is impressive. We were picked up early at our apartment by our driver Olsi who was so nice and accommodating. He also did a fantastic job showing us the sights during our drive to Amalfi and Pompeii. We had a wonderful time at Positano with plenty of time to swim before heading to Pompeii. Our Pompeii tour guide Livio was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much history. I highly recommend this company and tour to everyone. Will definitely hire them again for our next visit to Italy.

Livio snd Stephania were excellent guides, their English was great and the type was the best we have had so far. Our drivers were in time and patient with our large group of 16. We had ages from 1 infant a 16 year old a few in their twenties and some older.

We had a terrific drive down from Rome to Positano and our driver Leonardo took us to the best lunch up on the mountain with breathtaking views of the water. Trattoria la Tagliata is a working farm and everything served came fresh and delicious.
Our Pompeii tour guide was Lello himself and we were treated to a personalized tour as we had my 80 year old father in law who really needed to watch his step. We felt like we saw so much and stayed safe at the same time.
This is the second time we have taken this trip with Lello Tours and I will do it a third time with no hesitation.

This tour started with excellent communication and easy booking to see Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. Pickup was prompt and our Driver Stefano excellent and fun. One member of our group of five had a special request to climb Mt. Vesuvius. Veronica worked with our tour and was able to accommodate this while we did Pompeii. Wow, talk about service. Arrival at Pompeii our group of four adults was led on an immersive and knowledgeable tour of the ruins of Pompeii. With Lello guiding we felt comfortable right from the beginning and learned so much more of the daily lives of the past inhabitants and how smart and resourceful they were. The area is immense and Lello mixed the highlights with information and fun! I have a new understanding of this unique world UNESCO site and will be sure to tell others about this.
After the tour we were driven down the Amalfi coast and had lunch that our driver arranged above Positano. No pictures can capture the views we experienced as the coast and towns are spectacular. Stefano was easy to talk to, answered our questions, and went out of his way to let us see everything.

Our Tour guide Roberta for our tour of Pompeii was not only friendly and warm, but very informative and interesting to listen to. I felt as though she was part of our group on holiday but obviously a lot more educated in Pompeii and it’s ruins. We couldn’t get enough of this wonderful place and Roberta made it very easy to understand and absorb. Booking and contact was very simple and these guys are prompt and polite. If ever I return I will definitely be looking them up. :) thanks a bunch for a fantastic day. Your tour guides and drivers go above and beyond. Grazie

Lello did an excellent job of giving us lots of information while keeping things fun and interesting. We covered a lot of ground and saw amazing things. The kids were very engaged, and the adults enjoyed the tour and learned a lot. Our driver, Stefano, was great. He picked us up right on time at our hotel and he pointed out highlights on the drive. He gave us good suggestions for our visit to Sorrento. We elected not to go to Positano due to weather, which was fine-- Sorrento was lively and fun.
