We booked and paid £77 for a tour with Get Your Guide who partnered with Fun Tours, unfortunately we never got our tour due to being late on arrival, however, we accept our lateness but the directions, description of location and lack of signage did not help. On arrival we were met with a surly automatic response ....it’s ur own fault, nothing we can do and you need to go back to get your guide. So I would like to thank Fun Tours for the first impression we received of Roma! Perhaps as I work in the service tourist industry in Scotland I know we would do our best to remedy unfortunate situations even if we think it’s not our fault......yip offering a different tour after u’ve been nippy isn’t helpful neither is informing that you can reschedule our tour for a mere further 50euro! Very poor show! I have attached pics so you can see that the Fun Tours isn’t actually located behind the metro .. see if you can find it.....

We are very sorry that you weren't able to take part on your tour.
While we at Fun Tour always provide detailed instructions as to how to find the meeting point in vouchers, we do recognise that it is not always possible to find a meeting point in a busy city. However, in these cases we do offer customer care during all touring hours for clients who are having difficulties, and we would have been happy to assist you in this case.
We require clients to arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes prior the departure of their tour, since we have a specific time to get inside the venue in order to be able to skip the line. Please note that waiting for late arrivals may risk the skip the line benefit for the rest of the clients who showed up at the meeting point on time.
However if lateness happen, our Coordinators at the meeting point and the Customer Care agents do their best to find an alternative solution, subject to tickets availability.
Our policy states, that if you miss the entrance time, we need to apply a rebooking fee to cover the price of the tickets in order to reschedule the tour.

El coliseo siempre es espectacular verlo, .... el punto de encuentro no es muy difícil de encontrar, hacia mucho calor, sugiero llevar paraguas porque el calor mata y siempre estamos en el sol, había mucha gente por ser verano y es difícil tomarse buenas fotos, el tour duro poco pero todo bien explicado

Tuvimos la mala suerte de encontrarnos con esta “agencia” con mi amiga nos cobraron 30 euros por el tour guiado al coliseo, palatino y foro! Al terminar el recorrido por el coliseo la guía nos dice que ella ha terminado su trabajo, al consultarle por los otros dos lugares nos dice a todos los del tour (unas 10 personas) que ella era externa y no nos iba a hacer el recorrido porque estaba muy cansada. No nos dieron ninguna solución, tuvimos que recorrer el palatino y el foro solos!!!! Lo peor es que a otras personas les habían cobrado 40 euros por lo mismo !! No ocupen esta “agencia”! El número de teléfono de su página web ni siquiera funciona! Unos estafadores profesionales!

We took the 3.5 hour tour of Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palantine Hill with Fun Tours on May 30, 2019. We had booked our tickets for 3:00 PM tour over a month in advance. After we paid and were walked to the meeting point, we were told our 3:00 tour started at 3:35. We are a family of 5 traveling from USA and had children with a busy schedule and did not appreciate the tour company changing the time on us. Our concerns were dismissed with comments like "Its Italy, get used to it" and "This will be better for your family since the 3:00 tour had more people.". Once our tour started at 3:45, there were more than 45 people in the "small group" tour that was supposed to be less than 25 people. Our tour guide was not good at all - her English was poor at best and she was extremely soft spoken. Words that are part of the regular tour were not pronounced correctly - to the point that people in the tour were aborting the tour about 20 minutes into it. There was approximately 45 minutes of free time to explore the Colosseum independently during the tour before meeting with a different guide for the Forum and Palantine Hill. At the meeting point for the second portion of the tour, it was a completely different group of people and the number of people in the tour was well over 50 (again we paid for less than 25 people in our small group tour). Our guide of the Forum/Palantine Hill, Jonathan, was excellent. He did end our tour on a positive note - even the children appreciated the information she shared and his humor. I would not recommend Fun Tours as it is clearly all about taking money from as many people as possible and not providing the advertised experience.

We are sorry to hear that environmental factors impacted on your experience of the tour, though we are grateful to see that you felt we ourselves provided a great service
Unfortunately, the conditions and rules of the Colosseum relating to heat, delate entrances as well as the high volume of people in the building, is something that we at FUN TOUR have no real control over. We do offer to skip the line access to somewhat limit the impact of the crowds, but unfortunately, there is not much else we can do.
For clients who are concerned about crowds and the heat, we always recommend booking as early as possible. We also offer our Early access tours, such as the COLOSSEUM tour AT 8,45.

Great tour guide in Colluseum. We really did skip the Line. Sailed through crowds. Afterwards had another tour with Anton on Paletine. Well worth the money.

We walked down to the Colosseum intending to visit the site along with the Forum/Palatine Hill on our 3 day Roma pass, but it turned out to be a free day. Fun tour was hawking its tours claiming that we would save 40 minutes skipping the line and offering a combined tour for half price. When asked how many would be on the tour we were told 12, which expanded to 20, 25 and finally 36 including two who were rushed on without tickets, thereby delaying the other 34 people. We saved no time and the tour consisted of the guide holding up pictures and providing very limited facts in broken English. We skipped the second part of the tour (Forum/Palatine). got our own ticket and did it ourselves with a little help from our guide book. I suggest you do the same.
