This tour is a must when you visit Rome. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and the whole experience was amazing.
I was torn with the additional tour of the animal cage area in the underground but you can visibly see the underneath now from the platform of the arena floor.
If you intend to just visit the Colosseum and see the main parts of the arena, this is the tour for you.

Massimo (Max) was the best tour guide we have had in all of our travels. He made this a great day. He is a native Roman with excellent knowledge. He was a funny and spoke perfect English. We heard many other tour guides all around and we felt fortunate to have Max as our guide.

Giovanni and Stefan were outstanding. Their knowledge, humour and navigation were exemplary. I would heartily recommend this tour.
