Brilliant whistle stop tour. Alec was amazing and very funny. The tour was informative and gave enough information to not feel bogged down with facts. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

Great tour of the site and a comprehensive history of ancient Rome all in one. Our guide, Alex, was friendly and informative. The view from the top is wonderful. The coffee bar was too crowded to get a seat when we were there but if you can find a table it looks like a fine place to enjoy a drink.

Direkt am Tag unserer Anreise haben wir diese Tour gebucht. Unser Guide Alec hat uns nicht nur viele Einblicke in die Geschichte der Engelsburg gegeben, sondern auch Details über die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rom erzählt. Die Tipps, die wir von ihm bekamen, waren sehr hilfreich für die weitere Planung unseres Aufenthalts. Vielen Dank!

I would highly recommend this tour, and definitely add the "drinks on the balcony" to it. The tour guide was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and just enjoyable to be with. We did the tour on Easter morning, which made the "drinks on the balcony" even more special because we were seated at a private alcove facing St Peters Basilica and we were able to see the Pope on his balcony delivering his Easter blessing! Amazing.

After 9 p.m. the day before our tour I was texted by the guide who told me he needed to cancel only "because of Covid" but could do it later in the day (because Covid wasn't then a problem?). We were unable to meet up because of other bookings we had and we were not refunded our tickets. Would not recommend this tour company. We had great experiences with all others.

Tour and tour guide were excellent. It was a small group which made the tour nice and easy to hear. Our guide was very knowledgable about the castle and its history, and explained everything really well. He made sure we saw as much of the castle as possible.
