Our tour guide, Alicia, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable. An excellent tour. I doubt it would have been as historically impressive without a guide.

Thus was an outstanding tour to the castle. I have been to Roma several times in the past but never made thus tour. What a mistake! The guide was truly superb, knew all details but mire important made it interesting and easy to listen. Definitely well worth the time fir sure. Fantastic views of the city and the Vatican too. A win win!!

The Castel Sant’Angelo has one of the best views of Rome. As we ascended the building, our tour guide Alex detailed its history, from its beginnings as the tomb of Hadrian, to a defensive castle for Popes. At the top there is one of the best views of Rome, and a bar where you can enjoy a drink while you bask. If you have time, don’t miss this.

An amazing building with an interesting background! Our tour guide, Alec, was funny and very knowledgeable about the history of the building. 10/10 recommend the tour with the drinks at the bar, too!

Although it was nice to have someone who knows the historic building guide us though it’s nooks and crannies, the guide was very difficult to understand. Her accent was so pronounced that my husband couldn’t make out what she was saying. We felt the price was steep and that the experience wasn’t worth it. If I had to do it again I would just get an audio guide. I don’t know if I’ve ever given a bad review… but there’s always a first time, right?

Alec was a wonderful guide. He answered all our questions and gave us a thorough and in depth rour of the Castel. This is a great tour packed with so much history of Rome, and the best part is the tour group is small. There were only six in our group. Would definitely recommend and would book again if given the chance.
