Wow!! Rita was amazing I’ve never learned so much from one person. She was a fountain of knowledge, so articulate with the history of Rome. Friendly and energetic I could listen to her talking all day. Rita never stop talking we love you

We had an amazing time on the tour! Our tour-guide Gigi was amazing! He explained everything really well and made the tour very fun for everyone! We highly recommend :)

Not sure if this is the exact tour but booked through Viator for the Colosseum tour with a trip to the Roman Forum after. Firstly we absolutely loved this tour, everything we saw was beyond our expectations and it wasn’t too crowded for us to really enjoy. Our tour guide, Vita, was brilliant! Very knowledgeable and paced the tour exceptionally well, by the end we had seen everything we wanted to see and were ready for a cold beer. Would highly recommend Vita if you’re able to book with her directly, fab fab fab - thanks Vita!!

I didn’t have tickets and changed my plans for the day last min. I decided I’d just go ahead and walk town to the Coliseum and hope for the best.
Someone quickly found me to help me and spoke wonderful English which I was grateful for. I really wanted an in-depth tour package and they sold me a last minute ticket for $15-25 less then online!
20 minutes later I started a tour with the most amazing guide. Daniela did a 3-4 hour tour starting with a private tour of the Forum. She took the time to go all the way back to the beginning of how Rome began which I loved. She was very knowledgeable seemed to enjoy answering questions and was happy to take pictures.
Later we had a small tour of the Coliseum with a group of 5. I learned so much! Daniela even extended the tour for us a bit. She made the tour fun with light jokes and really made it so I felt I could imagine what it was like to walk through those amazing ruins back in their prime.

Vi ringrazio ancora della splendida visita al Colosseo e dell'opportunità di visitare anche i sotterranei e l'arena con i miei 2 nipoti di 7 e 10 anni. È stato un bellissimo "tuffo nel passato" sia per me che per loro, grazie anche alla narrazione e alle spiegazioni di Norman la guida; non è poi così scontato trovare professionalità e grande sensibilità nel raccontare la Storia. A presto spero.

Very informative and friendly guide - went through the colosseum in the perspective of the gladiator with underground view. Solid tour, book with Giovanni as he knows A LOT!

for sure it was the best guided tour Ive ever been a part of!! we got to find out a bunch of stuff about the history of the monument and of ancient Rome. it was an extremely hot day but being able to skip the lines definitely helped, it was also a very well organised tour that raised up to my expectations. would definitely recommend the private option if you want to see more than the general access areas. the arena and underground felt great as there were very few people there at the time and we had loads of space to see the details
