由于我表哥的建议和看了Rick Steves的关于罗马的书,我们在这家旅行社预订了梵蒂冈和古罗马之旅。我们的团只有我们4个人,另一个团有10个人,所以这几乎是个私人旅游了。导游很容易找,而且都是以英语为母语的。他们给我们将来很多细节信息和故事,让那些遗址在我们眼前鲜活起来。我们自己去看了另一个遗址,国家博物馆。跟着那些知道最佳方式去探索,让我们非常放心。

导游真棒!
我们看到了奥德赛旅游团的介绍,9月一个温暖的午后,我们去玩了。在帕拉丁山和罗马市集周围玩了一天之后,简直累坏了,把今年想去的地方都去了......但是有个来自路易斯安那叫Jason的年轻导游让我们有点心动。虽然我们对罗马的遗迹都比较了解了,但Jason邀请我们免费去,发现Jason简直是个历史学家,讲故事绘声绘色,三分钟之后,我们就决定去了,Jason带团的方式简直太牛了!他不仅有很强的沟通能力,而且讲话的时候把罗马的过去和现在一起对比,于是大家也都不由自主地被他吸引了,而且经常被他逗得哈哈大笑。他竟然奇妙地把儒略·凯撒和布什、布莱尔联系在一起,非常有趣,把一个下午变得如此丰富多彩,引人入胜。其实市集之旅是要收钱的,但听了Jason的高谈阔论,大家也不介意花钱参加,他是个人才啊!!!遗憾的是那天晚上我们没跟他去游罗马古城(Centro Storico),我很想听他在威尼斯广场上大声朗读墨索里尼的演讲......如果想在罗马找个好导游(我相信其他导游也跟Jason一样优秀),就去奥德赛旅游团的网站上看看吧,找个好导游会让历史变得更加立体有趣!

Superfantastic Private Tour of Rome

Superfantastic tour and a wonderfully passionate tour guide, Eugene. We visited all the sites we hoped to see and more.

One of us uses an electric wheelchair and while the tour has some cobblestone roads ... which can't be avoided in Rome, Eugene insured that our path/route was accommodating.

We loved the tour and Eugene. Ask him about his favorite lunch stop for an authentic slice of Roman pizza.

When in Rome and using Europe Odyssey Tours ask for Eugene.

High quality tours of Rome

My husband and I took several tours with European Odyssey in Rome and all of them were excellent! Not only were the guides experts on history, culture, and art in Rome, they were professional and thoughtful. I use a wheelchair and they were prepared with accessible routes and adjusting to my needs. I highly recommend European Odyssey tours for their expertise, personalization, and warm welcome to Rome!

Go on this tour!

This tour was a great experience and one of our favorite parts of the few days my husband and I spent in Rome! Our guide, Lucian, was so personable, smart and kind. It is incredible all the knowledge he has about the ancient ruins. He kindly answered all our questions, stopped to take some pictures of us, and even gave us some suggestions about dishes to try while we were on our trip! He also went above and beyond after the tour to help us find our way to our lunch spot. There were no taxis in sight near the Colosseum and he hopped on a bus with us and pointed us in the right direction!

Would 100% recommend this private tour to others!

Excellent Tour!

Private Colosseum tour
