Dear Sir, thank you for the time you took to write this story which we are not going to call "review" as you were unfortunately never our guest, a story which sadly depicts the events in a very untruthful way. First of all, our customers' enjoyment of the experience is our top priority, and we think that can be easily understood by looking at the other reviews. For those interested, here is what really happened... You booked the wrong date, despite numerous emails we exchanged - you did not realize before the tour, we waited for you at the time of departure (which caused a delay), tried to get in touch and you only saw our messages hours later. You make it sound like you realized before the tour, but that is not true - so the boat left with empty seats that could have been filled, in the busiest time of the year for us. We are a small company, the boat accomodates maximum 9 people and we have a very brief season because of the weather - how are we supposed to refund ALL the money if a group simply forgets to turn up? You talk about flexibility and payment onsite, may we ask - would a cruise company, an air travel company or a theatre give you the money back if you did not show up for your trip/experience? We always find a solution if somebody has issues and lets us know BEFORE the experience, plenty of customers can attest to that, but to expect a FULL refund after simply forgetting to show up is unacceptable. ALso unacceptable is your depiction of the events, what we can say is that you kept calling our landline for the following day, in a very harassing way. Saying that Mario mentioned reporting you to the police is so absurd that we are not even going to comment on that... We did get back to you the following day with the offer of a partial refund (which you were not entitled to), not "days after" like you said. And no, we did not have any spots available the following days otherwise we would have been happy to take you on our tour: the website does not show immediate availability, it is up to us to confirm the booking so there was no way for you to see we had spots available (it was the busiest time of the year, with tours sold out days in advance). On the phone you said that we ruined your family holiday: well, we've got news for you - we are too, a family with a small business, hugely impacted by two years of pandemic, soaring costs and unpredictability: we try to do our best everyday for our customers, we are very sorry that you missed the opportunity to be one of those happy customers and we are even more sorry to learn that there are people out there who aren't willing to accept that they made a mistake and they expect other people to pay for it, threatening with a "bad review"... how sad.
