Breathtaking view.
As a good Cremonese doc I climbed the Torrazzo even before the Vertical Museum was added. Now the climb is gentler and more pleasant.!

Do not miss it if you are in the area. 502 steps to the top and enjoy the view, but the interior offers pleasant stops for the small vertical museum. The ticket also includes a visit to the interesting baptistery and the less inviting diocesan museum.

Once you have visited the Duomo you can not buy the ticket and climb to the Torrazzo, it is certainly worth it.
A must-see for fans of astronomical clocks.
The steps are comfortable, you can climb slowly with several stops, it is feasible for everyone.
The ticket also offers the opportunity to visit the adjacent baptistery and museum.
We spent a great afternoon immersed in art.

Single ticket for the three attractions at 10€ per adult.
The climb to Torrazzo consists of about 435 steps and allows intermediate stops to breathe in the rooms equipped with clocks, mechanisms for bells, time meters and news about the structure. From the top fantastic view over the whole city.
The baptistery is quite bare and offers visitors few things inside (baptismal font, 2 altars and statues.
The diocesan museum instead offers the visitor a beautiful exhibition of paintings, statues, vestments and the treasure of the basilica.

An unmissable activity if you visit the beautiful Cremona.
Cumulative entrance to the Torrazzo with vertical museum on time, visit to the baptistery and the diocesan museum.
Beautiful climb to the great tower. 500 steps for a 112-meter climb. The route is interspersed with some rooms that deal with the theme of time. This is due to the fact that a huge astronomical clock is placed on the tower. It is said to be the largest dial in the world.
A Foacault pendulum is present.
Beautiful baptistery and also the diocesan museum. The visit to the beautiful cathedral is free.
The tower is said to be the tallest brick tower in Europe.
Not to be missed.

We got the ticket for all 3 activities in Cremona for only 10 euros each. Was well worth the money. The vertical tower was the most time consuming, to climb 500+ steps. Even if you are unfit like me, they have levels every 100 or so steps so you can sit and watch an informative video or look at the clock and take a break. Views from even half way up were great. The cathedral/church was super impressive especially the ceilings, and the museum was good too, it was nice to get up close to see paintings without the protective glass on them.

We decided on a day trip to Cremona with a typical lunch in a restaurant just outside Cremona.
A visit to the Town Hall square and the church in front of it and its Torrazzo is a must, with an associated passage to the Baptistery and Diocesan Museum.
The climb to the top of the Torrazzo (the tallest tower in Europe) can be done quite easily, even for the two or three tactical stops at the intermediate rooms with displays of watches, machines and parts and reconstructions of everything related with the astronomical clock (very interesting and wonderful) which is on the external façade of the Torrazzo and video documentaries that help you catch your breath and enjoy the view as you reach the top floor of the tower.
From here the view is over the entire city and 360 degrees, as far as the eye can see, if the day is clear and permitting, for the entire surrounding area. I would then say that with the visit to the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Diocesan Museum, the cumulative ticket cost is €10.00.
The day could end with satisfaction and fullness for everything seen and learned, having enriched one's cultural background, relaxed the mind and satisfied the palate with a good lunch in any restaurant in the city or just outside.
Recommended for a simple and undemanding but satisfying day!!!

Very interesting visit, there are 512 steps but they are quite easy to climb, also because you can stop on the various floors.
