上个星期天，天气情朗，我和一群朋友去玻璃岛玩，无意中发现一家玻璃厂非常漂亮，他们有很多手工制作的玻璃,其中包括吊灯,动物，花瓶，盘子，还有很多很多、、工作人员很热情，很专业，建议你们来Murano,一定要去他们那里。

The tour and demonstration was wonderful. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. During the demo by the master, she explained what and why he was doing what he did. She answered any question confidentiality and with probs knowledge of what was happening. She offered us a shady place to sit and a drink of water or tea as we waited for the tour ahead of us to finish. The workshop was a choice if gluing bits of glass on wood, or stringing glass beads to make a bracelet. It felt like elementary school. Go for the demo. The demo is great for kids. The gift shop is amazing works of glass you don't want hyper children near.

The glassblowing demonstration was very short, about 15 minutes. It wasn't really a tour of the factory. The jewelry making was fun. In the gift shop, they misled us that their gift shop was the only place in all of Venice where real Murano glass could be purchased (which is not true).

Short and fun experience at Murano glass factory. Received a short 10 minutes demonstration of the glass work by one of their craftsman followed by mosaic DIY workshop.

Leuke ervaring om mee te maken. De demonstratie was kort maar was wel interessant om te bekijken en leerzaam. Voor de workshop kregen we ruim de tijd en was leuk om te doen. Met een keuze uit twee workshop is het voor ieder wat te doen. Vervolgens in de showroom verbaast over al het glas hoe dit is geblazen. Na de korte wandeltocht, boottocht (wel zelf betalen, was voor ons van te voren duidelijk) demonstratie en vervolgens de workshop zijn we totaal 1,5h bezig geweest. Was erg gezellig en leuk om te doen/ te zien.

Not long enough. Disappointed with the amount of time in the factory. The master glass blower was very good just wish we had more time.

the glass blowing/molding presentation was incredible, but the cost of the taxi was a bit confusing and unclear on the website. we did the jewelry making activity which was very fun and the beads were gorgeous, but the clasp they put onto the bracelet for seemed to be rather cheap and flimsy which then resulted in mine falling off at some point on the way back into town. the showroom was gorgeous as well, i just wish the demonstrations were a bit longer

Very informative, very fun, loved watching the master glass maker work. He made it look so easy! Murano is beautiful and the showroom is stunning. Something for everyone’s budget.

This is a review of two halves.
Amazing. Such skill. How do these old fellas make these amazing glass thingies? They are skilled and it’s incredible. The free taxi transfer is a bonus. The air con is fab.
Ok.
I’m a cheapskate! How freaking over priced is this stuff? It’s incredible but we were quoted 700 euro for a set of six glass table tumblers. All the stories , so skilled, limited edition etc. But in the restaurant behind the venue- they have loads. See pictures. They can’t be that expensive. Or limited.
Prob is. If you don’t buy anything, you’ll feel bad as you got a free boat transfer. And also the guide won’t tell you how to get out of the building. Or how to get the ferries back at your expense.
So Google maps at the ready, be brave.
Unfortunately for the glass makers, if you want anything it’s all available in the streets behind in either murano or burano at 20% off the show room price. So go look.

Outstanding demonstration accompanied by an interesting presentation finished with the opportunity to make a souvenir yourself.
A walk through the gallery and gift shop will challenge anyone not to leave with something one of a kind.
I bought several items and can’t wait to get home to put them out.

It was fine. Long walk to the public ferry, then a short (but interesting) demonstration, and the workshop/jewelry making was very basic. But, my kids liked it fine.

It does not. We bought a 24 hour ticket for 20 Euros each and used it many times to go from one site to another. The tour description explains that as well. In any case it was a very interesting tour. The glass itself is beautiful but also very expensive at the factory. We found the same glass in numerous shops on the grand canal that were priced more reasonably. Hope this helps.
