This gondola ride was okay but you only spend 20mins on the water, the 30 minute experience includes queuing. We paid over €150 for 4 people which did seem excessive for the amount of time on the gondola.

Gondola rides are 90 euros per 30 minutes and you don’t get the full 30 min. More like 20min, Outrageous. Be ware don’t do the rides that are on open water, not very enjoyable and can very choppy waters. Do the once inside the canals that are more smooth sailing and more enjoyable. It’s also cash only.

We booked for a half an hour ride but it was only about 15 minutes! Very disappointing! The part of the grand canal was maybe around 5 minutes even though the advertisement made it sound as if it were more time on the grand canal!!

Ricky was a gondalier was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely informative and was eager to answer our questions. The other gondoliers should take a lesson from Ricky. We actually had other gondolas go buy and the people were listing to our guide! 99% of the guides we passed were not speaking at all to their riders!

Beautiful gondola ride, super nice and more when next to a special person, canals and more channels full of life. Colors, textures, diversity and magic have this tour, to live once in a lifetime

Wonderful experience, helpful and friendly people. Beautiful views. Best to use gps to the illy cafe in order to get to the ticket office, just next to it.

After reading some reviews, I definitely built in time between retrieving tickets and the actual departure area. All was smooth. Instructions were clear and we had no wait time. It was a great ride through canals, and perfect opportunities for pictures.

A great experience! You can see Venice from the water through the narrow alleys. Many photogenic moments along the way. The canals are crowded by many gondolas but if you use a stick you photograph beautiful moments! Plus: don’t forget to photograph the gondolier 👍🏻👍🏻

Gondola ride ticket and guide attendants were extremely rude and focused on jamming 5 people in a gondola and didn’t care who they were putting in the ride with you. Gondola driver did not utter one word the entire ride. Regretted not hiring a gondola driver who owned his own gondola. Those gondola drivers provided music and were more passionate about their profession. Do not waste your money on this tour!

A tour completely different from all the others, as you walk along the canals that cross the city, right next to the houses. The vessels have a beautiful slender shape. The gondoliers are not always very friendly.

No entiendo muy bien la pregunta, si te refieres a donde vais ubicados la respuesta es en el centro de la góndola aunque desconozco si pueden ir ocho, seis seguro que si. Espero haberte ayudado.

Hi the prices given are for the boat not the individual. I believe they can take up to 6 people at a time so that makes it much more affordable. There were just the two of us so 40 euro each.

I booked it anyway, without knowing where it would depart from. After booking you get a confirmation mail and the location to meet. The location is:
DEPARTURE POINT

Campo San Luca, in front of Bucintoro Viaggi Travel agency
It says to meet outside but you actually need to go in the travel agency to get the tickets. You'll also be in a huge crowd of others and will have to follow someone to the start point and queue up to wait your turn. If you're unlucky enough to be at the back of the queue there's probably around a 30-minute wait so try to be at the front!
It's a bit like a theme park ride due to the constant rotation of people on and off the boats. It's not romantic as you'll be sharing with another 5 people too, but it's cheap-ish (for Venice) if you just want to tick it off the list and get some of the experience.

There are many gondolas moored in the sea by St Marks Square & along that sea front.
Theres a hut/cabin where the gondola men wait by the boats, ask there.
If you are wslking around the canals, there were odd Gondolas for hire in random places.
