The mask workshop in the studio "Sogno Veneziano" was fantastic and will definitely stay in our dream memory. Daniel, an art student, not only taught us historical background about the masks, but also gave us excellent advice and support. Daniel’s experience and inventiveness and the material provided inspired us so much that we could well have attached two more creative hours. Thanks to Daniel’s patient and tireless help, we were able to take wonderful mementos home at the end of the course.
Daniel, who worked so empathetically with us and his understanding boss, we would like to thank him warmly for the wonderful experience.

A fun activity with lovely, patient, knowledgeable staff. My eight year old had a blast. One of his favourite activities so far. I highly recommend!

My granddaughter and I took a mask making workshop here. We learned how the masks were made and had the opportunity to choose a mask and paint/decorate it. Daniel was a fantastic instructor who guided us every step of the way. The class was scheduled for 2 hrs; we were there closer to 2 1/2 hrs.

Such a great experience. We enjoyed learning about the history of masks in Venice while creating beautiful masks of our own. Even the less artistic in our family are thrilled with the final product. Highly recommended for families!

Wonderful activity for all ages visiting Venice. Two hours of creating and painting our own masks, whilst learning the fascinating history behind this Venetian tradition. We would highly recommend and hope to come back!

This is such a great way to spend a few hours. The host was funny and went out of his way to make sure you were happy with your mask. You get to take it home with you which makes it such a unique souvenier.

The other workshops we saw were one hour, one hour doesn't give you time for anything. This one caught our attention because it was two hours long.
Giulia and her husband are very nice, they speak Spanish very well, they told us how the world of masks began, we were very calm, they helped us, advised us and recommended a spectacular restaurant where we could have dinner.
10 out of 10.
I hope it doesn't rain on Sunday 😉.

22/26 Aug 2023. Booked this for my two sons (10 and 12 years old). They wanted to do the painting and were keen to do the full course including paper mache mask making (pre painting) but couldn’t quite make it work. In the 2 hour lesson (also one hour options) it was just the two of them with an art student. They had the best time. Couldn’t stop talking about it. So much so that they had to book in again before we left and continue to plan what they will do next time! The student was so nice and patient with them. They enjoyed even more because of him. I left the kids there for the 2 hour session with him. The owner of the store is also lovely and has a gorgeous shop of masks and costumes. Stunning. Highly recommend. I know we will be back.

Loved it. Liked how he let us choose the mask and how we decorated it, but helped give us inspiration / ideas. Being with him is as just fun and relaxing! Very nice to talk to. See you again soon
