The audio was spotty. The poor tour guide looked harried and overworked. I felt rushed and could not keep up with the guide provided commentary.
We did two other tours which I won't mention here that we enjoyed immensely. This one by comparison was very disappointing.

If i could do zero or negative stars, i would.
Went to place as described on location at exact time and guide nowhere to be found. Asked for refund and rejected. This happened at 2 tours same day from same operator. Very frustrating. Also, no answer when called operator or messaged operator.

We went to the meeting place at the correct time but no one was there. Another guide from another company called the people who were supposed to have a tour with and they said it was a mistake. So no tour, no tickets, and awaiting our refund. Very disappointing but we got in later in the day for half the price.

Dear Deb, our staff was at the meeting point. You went to the wrong provider and could not find our staff there.
Due to a misunderstanding with the guy who talked with my colleague on the phone, you were told that this was a mistake, but our staff was actually waiting for you there at the meeting point.
Since you were given wrong information and could not do the tour, we exceptionally allowed your refund.

For Americans without a clue about the history of Venice, this tour was a very good introduction to the city/lagoon's much-storied history. My wife and I would recommend this tour because being able to "skip the line" was almost worth the ticket price alone. Additionally, walking around a historical site like this with a guide pointing out the highlights added more depth and richness to the sites we were looking at. Otherwise, it all would've just been a "that's cool, I wonder what that means?" kind of tour.
The crowds at the time we went was a bit much, but not the most crowded place compared to some of the other sites we visited in Italy. We were still able to get a great idea and feel for the history of the Palace with our guide without feeling overwhelmed by people. Just temper your expectations if you think you're going to have a free-flowing experience here, and really that just goes for anything you do in Italy. We recommend simply for the fact that we believe its important to understand the history of such a beautiful place.

The tour started 25 minutes late. We weren’t provided lanyards for the radios requiring that we hold the radio. It easily pulled the plug out of my ears. Seems like a small deal but it was quite a nuisance.
Our tour guide was poor. She rambled and didn’t have any sequential explanations to illuminate what we were seeing. She seemed exhausted and distracted.
The only positive was walking through the bridge of the sighs.
I’m sure there are much better tour operators for this. I do not recommend this specific provider.

our tour guide was very knowledgeable. we had a good time on this tour, happy we did it. and Was great to skip the long line for the palace tours.

Point de rencontre facile à trouver : guichet près de l’entrée de la poste . Tout est bien calé . Vous arrivez et on vous demande votre QR code de réservation , là on vous donne le numéro du tour ( pour nous visite guis’ de en français ) et vous allez en face prendre votre audio guide en français . Nous avons pris les billets sur TripAdvisor et pas de soucis . La visite a commencé a l’heure. Vous traversez donc la place San Marco et ne faites pas la queue pour entrer dans la Palais . Le système audio guide fonctionne très bien . La visite a duré une heure et la guide ( je n’ai plu son prénom en tête ) parle très bien français et est très intéressante . Je ne mets pas 5 étoiles car j’ai déjà fait la visite il y a 4 ans et on pouvais voir davantage de salles . Mais si je ne l’avais pas faite , j’aurais mis 5 étoiles .

Missed the tour altogether. Went to the start of the tour line at the Doge's Palace, which turned out NOT to be where the TripAdvisor tour started. Spent 20 minutes trying to find the start of the tour, after checking the small print on the ticket. Tour had already left. Very disappointing and not user-friendly.

It states that the Doge's Palace is now only open to those with an EU Green Card. There is no way for Americans to get a Green Card. However, I do have my Pfizer vaccine card, and have a digital copy of it on my phone in the My Wallet app. Will this not work? From reading this, it seems only members of the EU would be allowed entry. Is this correct?

I’m currently scheduled for a half-day (4.5 hours) tour of Murano, Torcello, and Burano starting 9am. I would like the remaining half day to visit the Doge’s Palace, Campanile di San Marco, and Basilica di San Marco. Wondering if you offer any combined package for that? For your information, the day of inquiry is on Saturday.

We are looking to do this tour but can only get there on a Sunday. Are there any limitations on dates and times? We are looking to go at the end of June. Also, looking to enter St. Marks Basillica

There are no limitations about dates, although if you purchase the ticket to avoid the line, you will have to up at the chosen time. If you are planning to stay in a hotel in Venice, my advice is don’t buy the ticket. Venice is crowded during the day due to the cruises that arrive early in the morning. After 6.30 pm you will feel the city is almost empty. So, after that hour, go and enjoy an amazing sunset with only a 5 minute waiting (you only can go upstairs taking the elevator). With regards to the Basilica, entrance to the church is free (no tickets needed; long lines and you wait outdoors, it closes at 5pm). But if you want to go to the terrace you need a special ticket. We took a tour because we wanted to understand something about this jewel and go upstairs to the terrace. It was absolutely worthy!

Mine was 11am. Pretty sharp. Look for the guys with the agency t-shirt or hoodie, under the Clock Tower. They will provide you with a walkie talkie and headphones. Test them before going in, so you have time enough to change them if they don`t work properly

Hi Colleen! Yes, you will visit the prisons, as well as the narrow passage where the sentenced to death walked through, known as the Bridge of Sighs. I was 100% satisfied with the knowledge of the guide, very complete and detailed. They provide tourists with a audio device so you don´t need to be stick to the guide.
