Great way to tour the canals and waterways
This was a great way to see the islands and learn some of their history in a great setting. The boat was extremely comfortable and allowed for up close and easy access to the canals and waterways we traveled; yet stable enough for the open water. Our guide was prompt and did a great job of explaining the buildings and landmarks we came across.

A Must See Experience!

Our guide, Mina, was fabulous! He was very knowledgeable about the history and current ways of life and industry on the islands. The Murano Glass tour was mind-blowing! We bought 3 pieces to ship home. There is a 12 room gallery, so after the demonstration, be sure to take your time! Burano is so beautiful with the bright colored buildings and plentiful shops to buy handmade lace goods. Torcello is a quiet, quick walking visit, but so pretty!

Fantastic day!
Our tour with Alessandro two days ago was wonderful! It was a little overcast and chilly but totally worth any discomfort. This was our 5th time in Venice and this tour was by far one of the most enjoyable experiences we’ve had here! Highly recommend it!

GREAT Boot tour

We had a very nice time with Alessandro and his boat. Upon arrival, Alessandro asked what we would most like to see and discussed how we were going to organize our tour. During the tour you get a lot of extra information from Alessandro and he gives tips and tricks about what to visit on the islands. We have visited Burano and Murano. Torcello did not visit (we did see this from the boat) because we sailed on to the nature reserve a little further on. I can recommend this tour to everyone! Our children (11 & 14y) also have the best memories of this. MUST DO if you visit venice!

Wonderful trip

We had a fantastic couple of hours with Alessandro going out to the small islands in the lagoon. Ha was great company and very knowledgeable (as well as speaking English very well).
He pointed out to us the birds in the lagoon: we even saw a number of ibis, egrets, etc.. It was a very hot day and walking in the city was exhausting so being on the water was a relief and a great way to discover parts of Venice we didn’t know...Alessandro is very charming, experienced, and his love for Venice makes him an enthusiastic guide to the city. We stopped in Burano for coffee and a Buranello biscuit he very thoughtfully bought for us, quite a treat! and visited the Isola di San Francesco del Deserto convent and its pretty garden. This trip on the lagoon was the highlight of our stay in Venice this summer and heartily recommend it. Well worth booking Alessandro’s tour for a memorable experience.

Perfect in every way!

My husband and I arrived in Venice at 3pm on a Thursday and by 5pm we already knew we wanted to leave the madness of it on Friday. I had read about Allessandro on trip advisor and we decided to contact them and see if they could accommodate us. Guilia was very prompt and professional in responding and helpful in booking our tour for the next day. We met Allessandro and instantly felt like we made the right choice for the day. As boaters ourselves, it was wonderful to get out on the water. We explored the smaller canals and then headed off to check out the islands. We drove through Murano but didn't get out because we were enjoying the boat too much, but did get out and walk around in Burano which was lovely. When we got back to the boat, Allessandro had a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us which was a great surprise. We then explored some of the nature to see in on the water and finally ended up in Torcello for an amazing lunch at a great restaurant Allessandro suggested. We learned a lot about Venice and the history from Allessandro and had just a perfect day. We hated to get off the boat! If you go to Venice book with Allessandro, you will not regret it. It was the highlight of our trip to Venice. We will be recommending him to anyone we know how goes to Venice!

Wonderful morning!

We found Allesandro on trip advisor and are so glad we did. It was a wonderful tour of Murano Burano and Torcello. Once we were picked up we got to go by St Mark's Square which was great. We also enjoyed seeing the Arsenale and having the opportunity to see the hands sculpture at the end. We would not have seen it without the tour. We enjoyed travelling in the small canals of Venice and also through the islands. It was a truly memorable and enjoyable morning. Highly recommend!!

Brilliant day out

My husband and I found Allesandro through a friend who had a tour with him recently. Allesandro was exceedingly thoughtful in presenting the finest aspects of various islands situated w/in the Venetian lagoon. He introduced us to various master artists in Murano. Was knowledgeable of the history of Burano and arranged for a delightful island lunch. We would wholeheartedly recommend Allesandro to anyone interested in touring the area.
