Our tour guide was very informative. He tried very hard to explain about the area we visited. His passion was evident in his explanations. He took us to a nice restaurant to give us a taste of wine and a ciccetti. It was very good. He also showed us a great restaurant at the end of the tour. The cannaregio area is wonderful! Thank you!

Andreapaolo was a brilliant and knowledgable tour guide to Venice. He spent a lot of time with us, and gave lots of useful information and history. A good introduction to Venice on our first night.

Nice guide, not a lot of new information and sometimes it seemed more like bullet points than a coherent story. Showed some pictures on his phone.
Overall we felt we would have discovered more on our own.

Thanks for your nice feedback :) unfortunately due our schedule ( I must be able to show you the “local’s area” in short time I can’t really stop in front every palace or church saying “who paid” “who built” because that means stop in front of every building for 30mins more or less ( just imagine that some family it’s here in Venice since the 9th century after Christ…) by the way I will keep in mind your suggestion to try to provide more historical infos about the family’s palaces that we can see during the walking tour to the local Restaurant :)

Andreapaolo knew how to captivate us by taking us to little-known places with excellent commentary on history or the present. He knew how to add a very pleasant touch of humor to it.
Being very enthusiastic, extremely well documented, we remained fascinated throughout the visit.

Andreapaolo was a wonderful, warm, friendly and funny guide, he kept the group engaged with interesting facts through the walk and had plenty of advice to offer for other sights to see in this beautiful city.
I did this tour only hours after arriving, and it was a great way to be introduced to Venice and how to navigate the many streets and islands. Following the 1.5 hour walk (with some neat photo opportunities) you sit down for dinner at a darn good seafood restaurant. I'm not usually a seafood fan so was relieved to see they have a few meat or vegetarian options. However I recommend you go out of your comfort zone and try the cuttlefish ink pasta like I did, it's surprisingly rich!

Wonderful. Best tour we have done in Italy. Our guide was funny and so knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. We stopped for drinks and nibbles and he then made reservations for those who wished an evening meal at the end of the tour. The tour lasted 3 hours but it didn’t feel like it. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

We spent our first night in Venice getting oriented to the city, the history and the people with Andrea … who was a gem! Funny and down to earth and knowledgeable too! We were able to see lots of the city & get a hearty snack and beverage too. Would 100% recommend!
