Luca gave our family a beautiful day filled with stories of his city, the history or Murano and Burano. The glass factory tour blew our minds with master glass makers working in front of us. The kids could even try blowing glass! Luca arranged for a delicious lunch at a historic restaurant in Burano (get the cuttlefish risotto!) and then a tour of the handmade lace at La Perla. Watched the youngest lace maker (who is 78!) working. The Murano and Burano arts are magnificent and an inspiration. Finished with a walk through the colorful quaint streets of the tiny island of Burano. DONT MISS THIS TOUR OR THIS GUIDE!!

Our few days in Venice felt like an endless journey. Thanks to our guide Natalia, who planned our trip perfectly!!!! From meeting at the station to seeing off at the airport. Delightful islands, advice and assistance in visiting theaters and concert halls, museums, an amazing cooking class, ... Everything was unforgettable and excellent. Thank you

One of the best tours i have ever had in my life. The boat arrived directly to our hotel and took us to Murano to enjoy an authentic venetian glassblower working and making some unique pieces blowing glass. In the second part we could explore all the showroom of the glass factory and we coulnd't believe what actually masters are still so capable of doing.
After this another taxi took us to the second island, Burano, where we enjoy a nice walk while our guide showed us why this island is so special. The museum of the lace was outstanding and the guide bought for us a pack of the local cookies.
If you can book this tour, please do it, you will not regret it!

Well organized tour! The elegant private taxi boat - from our hotel to the islands and back - was extremely fun and comfortable!
We loved our guide Giorgia. She was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic!
Our first stop was in Murano, we fell madly in love with glass and ended up buying a piece. Burano is the most colorful place I've ever seen! We'll never forget its surreal atmosphere: brightly colored houses, hanging clothes, elderly women making the lace..a place frozen in time and plenty of photo opportunities.
Well done! Thank you again Giorgia for the wonderful day!

And here we are again in Venice! This time was especially memorable. Excursion to Murano, the history of Venice and of course the most amazing carnival in the world! We had the best guide, super professional and good organizer for all our whims. Our guide was amazing Natalia! Nataliya, You are the best guide in the world! a million times many thanks for the excursions, organization and in general a pleasant pastime!!!🌺🌺🌺

Exceptional from start to finish! A private tour is hands down the way to go, and worth every penny. Our guide Luca went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable tour and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. He is extremely knowledgeable on the history of Venice/Murano/Burano, which allows you to learn historical and cultural info you wouldn’t find on Google. On top of all that, Luca also takes the best photos that you’ll enjoy for years to come!
The glass blowing tour in Murano is very entertaining, and the staff was even kind enough to gift us a glass blown horse that was made while we were there! They were not pushy at all when it came down to purchasing something or not.
The visit to Burano exceeded our expectations and was our favorite part of the tour. Luca knows the island as though he has lived there for 100+ years. We arrived to the island late afternoon, which was perfect because there were very minimal crowds and we enjoyed a peaceful two hours strolling the streets and canals of beautiful Burano.
The transportation from start to finish is top notch - super clean and elegant water taxis. This tour truly made us feel special, and we would highly recommend it to all of our family, friends, and TripAdvisor community! Thank you Luca and Shome Tours for the incredible experience!

Amazing experience- we had a group of 7 people including 3 young kids. private experience is the way to go. Highly recommended to experience Murano and Burano. Kids really loved it and we learned so much. Our guide was wonderful and always kept the kids engaged. A highlight for sure!

Natasha was our guide and she was awesome. Very knowledgeable and very fun! We saw the glass making in Murano which was interesting and got to participate blowing glass, and then onto Burano. Usually these places are pushy to sell something but the places we went were very nice and easy going. I highly recommend the private tour with Natasha.
