If you want a small group tour of Pulglia, this is it!! This is for history buffs AND foodies!
Gaetano, our driver/guide, was very knowlegeable and organized. Our experiences were varied (historical, working farms, cooking demos, delicious restaurants). We only had 4 people on our tour and luckily we became new friends. Great local guides. The only downside, since we were only 4, we sat 3 across in the back seat...a bit uncomfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend!!!

Grazie mille, Paula. I enjoyed the time we spent all together during our Puglia tour. I'm very happy that everything was perfect, and that the Foodies was something that everybody has appreciated and loved. I hope to see you and Lee again, maybe on the Amalfi Coast for more adventures.

Fantastic experience.. our driver/ guide Gaetano Barone was professional, well organised, knowledgeable, friendly, and made our small group of 8 feel instantly comfortable. Our 16 seater coach, clean comfortable and being only 8 each had leg room and a window seat, and his driving seamless and careful. The variety of experience gave us a true look into the heart of this fascinating area, touching on the most significant highlights of historical and cultural note, along with those hidden gems on off the beaten track experiences, the gourmet, to the natural beauty. Our accommodations were comfortable and of high standards throughout. From tBari to Alberello, the Sassi to the mystery of Castel monte, oil processing, hands on cheese making, delicious meals and wine experiences, and so much more. My husband and I cannot rate our enjoyment of this trip highly enough.

My friend and I LOVED this small group (8 people) guided walking tour of beautiful and historic Puglia. Our knowledgeable, friendly and professional guide Gaetano Barone, planned full day walking, historic sightseeing, and dining adventures to a large variety of places. We enjoyed behind the scene tours of a vineyard, cheese making operation, an olive oil factory, iconic churches, castles, caves, and FANTASTIC dining experiences, in the quaint small towns, and in the cities throughout the Puglia region. Gaetano also hired local guides in a number of places to share their depth of knowledge of the particular area we were visiting. All the accommodations were very comfortable and well located for night time walking. The Mercedes Touring van was very comfortable and Gaetano is an excellent driver. I highly recommend this tour.

Gaetano’s GOINITALY Puglia tour was such a joy. Gaetano is professional, personable and very knowledgeable about the area. He was accommodating for any special needs we might have. Each day was adventure filled with outstanding sights and interesting places—some off the beaten path. Lodging was great and the meals were all so very delicious. Gaetano also employed local guides in some of the areas for more in-depth information. I felt in good hands with Gaetano’s driving and would not hesitate to go on another GOINITALY tour.

All aspects of the Puglia tour were outstanding……. sights, food, guide, comfortable van, lodging, all in an absolutely beautiful part of Italy! Gaetano truly enjoys his career, and shares his knowledge about Puglia’s history, art, architecture and food. His itinerary included many of the unique towns and cities of the area, along with beautiful countryside. MANY meals are included, at a variety of restaurants, with local delicious food and wine! Hoping to travel with Gaetano agan someday….

I highly recommend this trip for anyone interested in exploring a lovely and historic area of Italy. Gaetano is a fabulous guide with a heart as big as all outdoors. Your eyes will grow big when you see all the fabulous food, and I loved staying on my own little trulli.
