We were a small group and not only did we have a great guide in Franco but we had fun with others on tour. Even though we were in city a few days Franco brought us to places we would have missed and he was also a fountain of knowledge. Finally he seemed to know everyone we met -coffee shop, church, food market!!
We saw/visited kings palace, archaeology museum, food market ( bustling- explained by Franco), Monte Urpinu( stunning views) Basilica di Sante Croce and lots more. Key was to be given simple info in historical context. This is an important background which explains how Cagliari is what it is I’ve the centuries. Without that you don’t grasp why : how Sardinia has become to be in this current state. Oh and we even got a nice sandwich and drink in a friendly Cafe in Poette beach.

Franco was positive, informative and welcoming. He loves Sardinia and works hard, and with warmth and humour, to ensure guests to Cagliari and Sardinia learn about this special city on a very special island. I highly recommend doing the Cagliari City Tour, as well as other tours, with Franco and his company.

Buenísima la visita a Cagliari!
Ya habíamos visitado la ciudad el día anterior por lo que le pedimos a Franco no repetir.
Fueron 4 hs por las afueras de la ciudad, muy entretenidas, interesante..todo impecable!

Franco ci ha portati per 4 ore a visitare Cagliari con il suo van condizionato, partendo dalle zone panoramiche e periferiche della città (come le saline, la spiaggia del Poetto e la Sella del Diavolo) e finendo nel centro storico, descrivendoci sia gli aspetti storico culturali che le particolarità naturalistiche di questa splendida città, con simpatia, competenza, cordialità e calore umano. Questo tour ha suscitato in noi un grande interesse per le molte meraviglie di questo bellissimo territorio. Speriamo di poter tornare presto per approfondire! Grazie Franco!

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Franco. He was very informative an excellent driver- some of those alleyways were really narrow!! It was a really good way to familiarize ourselves with the city

What a wonderful experience , loved the tour a morning full of fun and laughter and interesting historic sites . Franco was a wealth of information and the tour was very varied from visiting fish markets , singing Italian songs with a local playing a Accordan.
Eating a plate full of anti-pasta with a glass
beautiful Sardinian red wine.
Dropping in to the shops to buy a second hand guitar and buying a pair of blue Gucci glasses Divine views of the city . Interesting conversation full of historic facts
Franco was full of life nothing was too much .
