We thoroughly enjoyed the sailing experience - the skipper and our guide Bruna were very knowledgeable and we had a fantastic experience. We swam near the rocks and saw many crabs and fish on the ocean floor. There was a lot of bread, olives, tomatoes and other foods offered on the boat, and the chilled drinks were gratefully accepted. We all had a great time overall.
The only confusing part was trying to find the meeting point as it was a little hidden. It is located at the 'Club Nautico Catania' on maps, next to the Vecchia Dogana (top of the left jetty at the Port of Catania).

Etna Tribe proved to be a guarantee for various excursions: punctuality, professionalism, courtesy and friendliness are at home! The sailing tour with Enrico and Giuseppe (the skipper) was fabulous! We were the only Italians in a group of 9 but they put us at ease in every way. The 4h tour runs along the coast from Catania to Aci Castello and Aci Trezza to stop at the protected marine reserve of the Cyclops Islands, there stop 1h30 for a long swim to admire fish and seabed (masks, fins and a sup available) then aperitif on the boat with prosecco (superlative) and back. You obviously have to know how to swim well because the seabed is about 15 meters and boats dock away from the stacks. Unfortunately we had in a group of foreigners who left a lot and did not return at the scheduled time, it took all the patience of the skipper otherwise he would have left them there soaking!

Beautiful sailing tour with dedicated and very friendly captains! Thank you again! We had a good conversation on board, the history and constructions on the coast were explained in good English! The swimming fun and diving were great!

Absolutely rubbish experience. To start with, it is heavily overpriced for what you actually get. Advertise this amazing snorkelling trip, but took us to a place with barely anything to see. They also advertise SUP but clearly the board is just for display on the boat because it was not offered to us.
They give you no indication of things you need to bring, such as passport and 10€ per person in cash. Due to not having cash, I was sent out onto the street, on my own, in an area I didn’t know to find an atm to be able to pay this. I was giving no instruction as to where it was and spent around 20mins searching.
It was just a horrible trip. My partner and I booked as part of our honeymoon…waste of money, waste of time. Do not book with Etna Tribe.

The stop for snorkeling is made in the most suitable place and, like other water activities, is subject to sea conditions. If the sea is rough and it is not safe to enter the water, our staff will do their best to make your stop pleasant but cannot allow the use of equipment.
Regarding the skipper fee, we are sorry that you did not find the information but it is mentioned under "not included." We hope this clarifies your doubts. Best regards

Esperienza meravigliosa, barca perfetta, luoghi stupendi. Michele e Sergio, gli skipper che hanno accompagnato me e la mia famiglia in questa gita sono stati a dir poco favolosi. Gentili, accoglienti, disponibili, hanno saputo subito creare empatia regalandoci una esperienza ed un pomeriggio straordinario. Oltre ad ammirare la costa catanese e i suoi dintorni, oltre ad averci permesso di tuffarci nelle bellissime acque del mare siciliano, con la tipica ospitalità di questa terra ci hanno offerto un aperitivo ricchissimo e buonissimo, facendoci davvero tornare a terra a malincuore ma contentissimi di quanto avevamo vissuto e regalandoci un ricordo di questa terra magica ancora più bella ed un ricordo del "nostro" equipaggio che ricorderemo sempre con grande affetto e simpatia. Esperienza super consigliata!

We absolutely loved the boat tour to Aci Trezza! Capitano Giuseppe and Sergio were very knowledgeable, and they made the boat tour experience very fun and enjoyable! The landscape was gorgeous, and the aperitivo was perfect after a swim. One of our best memories from our trip. Would highly recommend this boat tour to anyone coming to Catania!

Gita stupenda presso Isola dei Ciclopi, tempo iniziato con il sole, poi un po' nuvoloso, ma quello cercavo.....il vento!!...oltre mezzo tragitto a vele spiegate!!..abbiamo partecipato alle manovre di viraggio e ci hanno spiegato tutto sul timone e le vele ...Abbiamo fatta amicizia con i turisti tedeschi e soprattutto lo Skipper, il proprietario della barca e il marinaio
