The guide was excellent! He knowledge of the architecture, history of the place, and all things local was extensive. He also had a great sense of humor and excellent English—kept us chuckling! He took us off the beaten path and showed us places we would’ve never thought of. He also provided us with interesting new snacks to try—making sure we were all seated comfortably as a group before he served us. It felt like he was our gracious host and we were feasting at his table. At the end of the tour, he also gave us detailed directions and advice on what to explore on our own.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Domenico. It was nice that the tour was broken into 2 components - the cultural part of the tour with sightseeing and the foodie part of the tour. Many of the sites were fascinating to learn about and the various tastings in the market were excellent - arancini, bread, cheeses, cannoli, gelato and more. Like many have said in previous reviews, Domenico has quite the dry sense of humor which results in many laughs. I highly recommend this tour while in Palermo.

This is a great way to get an overview of the history and culture with a side of food. Domenica is a great host filled with knowledge and experience and presents everything with a wry sense of humor that makes things light while still giving one the information on the subject. The walk through the Bollaro market is filled with sights, smell and flavor. He picks out a great cross section of street food to try. This tour I a great introduction to a great city.

bellissima esperienza, bellissimo tour, Domenico è molto disponibile e simpatico, abbiamo fatto il tuor in lingua inglese e abbiamo capito tutto perfettamente, abbiamo assaggiato i sapori del mercato di Palermo e visitato le meraviglie della città, consiglio vivamente questa esperienza
