I was looking for a bike to rent so I could do a tour around ortigia and see also the beaches further.
As many many people said this company Siracusa tour bike owned by Francesco is great.
He is enthusiastic, skilled and helpful.
He understood quickly my needs and chose a comfortable E bike for my tour.
I rode a bit more than 2 hours and got invoiced for 2 hours only. I appreciate.
The bike receives all good maintenance. Brakes works perfectly. No rust, no dust. Seat bike it thicker so you can sit and ride long time without suffering bottom pain.
The bike comes also with the chain lock and key.
The E bike I used had assistance, 1 to 5 level. It could work for 40km. Very useful when climbing and riding under sunny 38 degreees
It also had a basket in front and a back seat.

We are a family of 5, we took 3 normal bikes (comes with a basket and a phone holder which made it very easy to navigate through the city and hold bags and things we purchased on the way) and one electric bicycle for two (we had a 9 year old girl who is capable of riding but needs rest from time to time and tht was a perfect solution). We traveled around the city and stopped in some churches and fountains as well as a market we found on the way. The bikes came with a lock and were very easy to manage around. The owner (Francesco) is very lovely and helpful (we managed to speak half Italian and half English with him). Great experience!

El propietario, Franccesco es super amable, alquilamos 4 bicis y estuvimos 2 horas, 6€ por persona, 1 dia entero te cuesta 15€. En la bici tienes para sujetar el movil y asi poner el google maps y una cestita también. Es la mejor idea que hemos podido tener, alquilar bicis para visitar Ortigia, es un poco caos con la gente y los coches pero merece la pena, ves mas cosas y en menos tiempo.

Our bike tour of Sircusa and Ortigia with Giuseppe was absolutely wonderful. He has a deep knowledge of the history of the area. He made the Ancient Greek and Roman theaters come alive with his stories. We also visited the Ear of Dyonisus and the beautiful surrounding botanical gardens. Touring Ortigia on bikes was ideal because we were easily able to cover so much of the area. Giuseppe’s encylopedic knowledge of the area and his passion for its history bought it to life. We enthusiastically recommend Giuseppe and Siracusa Tour Bikes.
