Our hosts Giuseppe & Lindsay could not have been more charming. Buying the actual food from the market, taking it to their family home and showing us how to prepare was an exciting and learning experience. Giuseppe is knowledgeable about everything.
The food we ate was delicious and the American couple of guests made this an enjoyable experience.
Highly recommended. 5 Stars

My family of 4 had a great experience shopping and cooking a authentic Sicilian meal with a Sicilian family. I highly recommend this for familys looking to do something different while in Ortigia.

I highly recommend this if you're a fan of Sicilian food. Guiseppe and Lindsay were amazing hosts. We made a variety of dishes while enjoying an Aperol spritz or two. Thank you for your hospitality and for sending over the recipes. Can't wait to try them again.

This was a perfect day in Siracusa and Ortigia. We were hoping for an authentic market tour and cooking class and the experience was all that and more. Giuseppe brought us through the market, showing us the ins and outs. It was clear how well-respected he is in the market. His family has been providing tourism services for two generations. After the market tour, we went back to the family home where we prepared a multi-course lunch, which included produce we picked from their garden (as well as the items bought at the market). All in all the day was a blast. Giuseppe and Letizia are top notch hosts. Highly recommend!

Four of us had a wonderful day with Giuseppe (Peppe) & Lyndsey, firstly picking some fresh produce in the substantial garden and learning how to prepare some of Giuseppe’s mother’s recipes. We made a variety of dishes whilst enjoying Aperol spritz and Prosecco. The preparation, cooking and sharing of the meal with local wine was such a great experience, Peppe and Lyndsey are great company, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day and a great way to celebrate my husband’s birthday.

We started our trip in Sicily with this experience and are glad we did. We learned so much about Sicilian cuisine, Siracusa, and the region and their love and knowledge of Sicilian food and culture shown through. It was a very enjoyable afternoon and I can’t wait to prepare the meal again. Thanks!

This cooking class was a highlight of our trip in Sicily. Giuseppe and Lindsey were both kind and welcoming into their family home. Getting to pick fresh ingredients from the local market and from the garden was so fun. We loved learning the Italian techniques for the recipes and eating it together at the end. We would highly recommend! Thank you so much again!

We shopped at the market and then cooked a delicious Italian meal. It felt more like a dinner party with friends. Giuseppe and family were wonderfully down to earth and willing to share all the secrets of finding great food and experiences in Sicily. Loved every minute of this time!

A really lovely day collecting local food from the market (and the garden) and learning how to cook a delicious three course lunch in a local home. Totally enjoyed it. Guieseppi and Lindsay were perfect hosts, guides and cooking teachers. I would totally recommend this as a great way to spend time with some locals and to hear first hand about life and traditions in Sicily. The food was great too. Highly recommended.

Hallo! Dieser Kochkurs soll ein Geschenk für meine Eltern sein, die im Okt/Nov in Syrakus sind. Es wäre schade, wenn der Kurs aufgrund von fehlenden Teilnehmern abgesagt wird. Da meine Eltern in den 2 Wochen recht flexibel sind vom Termin, wäre es vielleicht einfacher es würde von ihnen einer vorgeschlagen an Tagen, wo sich schon jemand angemeldet hat. Das ist aber für mich in der Buchung leider nicht ersichtlich.
Gibt es da eine Möglichkeit??
