This was a great 1-day-tour to etna & taormina. Our tour guide Peppe took much care of us, he was highly committed to make our day perfect and explained a lot! the weather was also great, just on etna some clouds, but this didn‘t bother much. would definitey recommend this tour to everyone who wants a full day of sightseeing & entertainment

Despite the erupting volcano & the torrential rain, our guide Simone's relentless enthusiasm & passion for his home kept us all smiling from pickup to drop-off. His encyclopedic knowledge of all things Sicily was a holiday highlight. Simone gave us some great recommendations of other places to visit and places to eat on our trip. We went for an extended wine & food tasting during the tour & it was some of the best we've ever had.
It was a wonderful day of beautiful scenery, delicious flavours & a true taste of Sicily.
Edna Tribe as a company, & Simone in particular couldn't do enough for us. Ask for him by name.

We spent a wondeful day in the company of Andrea, our tour guide. He was friendly, supportive, funny, givings lots of great information during the tour. We discovered Etna, Taormina and sorroundings not only by going there but also through the information we received during the day.

We loved it! Andrea is a charismatic and knowledgeable guide, explaining all relevant information. He shared details about Etna (stones, gasses, dates of eruption), but also gave us insights in the role the “Mama Etna” plays in daily life and history of Sicily. Ask for Andrea! 🙏😁

Fanastic day tour to cover 2 places I loved. Florence is a very professional & nice guide with good driving skill. She is informative and cheerful. We enjoyed the guided walk along the Mt Etna where Florence told us a lot about the volcano & geology. Very interesting. The tour includes another few hours in Taormina which is a very nice place one cannot miss. If you do not have sufficient time to stay overnight in Taormina, this tour is perfect to take you there and grasp the best of the place.

We did the full day Mt Etna and Taormina trip yesterday with Giuseppe and we had the most amazing trip.
Giuseppe was a great character and knowledgeable from the start informing us all the way what we could see and what we would be doing. As we wanted to do the cable car trip Giuseppe organised this for us and set us on our way again with full details of what we would be doing and where to meet when we got back.
Mt Etna was breathtaking (we had a brilliant day weather wise) and Taormina stunning! Although we did a lot throughout the day it never felt rushed despite I’m sure Giuseppe having a timeframe to work with.
Giuseppe was a great character and knowledgeable from the start informing us all the way what we could see and what we would be doing. As we wanted to do the cable car trip Giuseppe organised this for us and set us on our way again with full details of what we would be doing and where to meet when we got back.

For 80.00 euros this is an average tour.
Guide drives you to a few places and provides some details. He appears as though he knows his stuff.
Other factors need to be considered- 50 euros each to hire a quad bike (Mount Etna) or 80 euro (approx) for a cable cart ride.
We hired quad bikes and had a great time.
Taromina- beautiful place to visit.
Organic farm- nice products to buy.
Tour guide was very inquisitive and asked too many personal question- jobs, qualifications, location, house rent or owned, marital status, religion, ancestory
(interesting).
However appeared annoyed each time we asked him questions 🙄 and quickly diverted the conversation.
Tour guide could do with some training as the experience just became annoying- uses others time and money to dig information for his own purpose.

As a traveler who has been to 20+ countries, and love enjoying nice sceneries and adventurous events, this tour is highly recommended! I would say with confidence it is the best one I've had for guided tour.
1st, Simone, our tour guide from Sicily, who is very passionate about his job & knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. He was very punctual & picked me up at 8:30 sharp. He is also a great DJ and is making sure everyone in the car are happy and safe.
2nd, it was a very condensed trip, which I preferred since this is a half-work trip for me, so that it gave me a glance at everything and then I could decide if I've ever wanted to come back. But the whole trip we did not feel rushed at all! We had just enough time to see everything we needed to see. Again, Simone made sure we had the best time during our vacation.
3rd, the highlight of the trip for adventurous people like me, is the Mt.Etna. I took a e-bike with 1 couple & our guide Antonio to experience the true "moon-surface" of Mt.Etna, and it was quite a workout (2 hrs, both uphill - cardio & strength, and downhill - focus & control). But it is way better than taking the cable car, since we were the only one on the road, we could truly enjoy the changes along Mt.Etna! Although I wish we could see the lava flow but will save it for some other time.
4th, Taormina was a very nice town where the White Lotus was filmed. It is a great combination of architecture from Greek to Rome to Arab, with a beautiful coastline in the background. It is quite relaxing especially after the long Mt.Etna biking tour. It would be a town where I would come back to stay for at least a night.
Last but not least, I was lucky to have an amazing group of travelers during this tour, along with the hospitality of Simone! I am likely to come back in the near future to see the lava flow, stay in Taormina when the water is warmer & get more Pistachio cream :)

It looks like they are flexible with pick up locations around Catania central. I suspect the stazione will be ok. Try the online booking which does allow a separate communication direct to tour operator and cancel if not, but I am pretty confident as we left Catania driving past the station toward the "hills".
