Cooking extravaganza!
Cooking experience in a small group, first visited market to select ingredients too cook. Transfer to restaurant where everything was load out and prepared for cooking experience and met Mimmi’s enthusiastic and loveable Mother Francesca. Who was there to assist, correct and encourage the group. We made pasta the southern Italian way just semolina flour and water, making several different types of pasta.
No eggs!
We also made Pesto with almonds and another pesto without nuts.
The main dish was Pasta Alla Norma, we made the passatta from scratch and we made a caponata.
We had a little break in between to snack and refresh, with food and wine. Francesca was quick to make sure we were back on track after the break.
We had a great group and a very enjoyable experience, would definitely recommend.
I will definitely be trying to recreate the recipes at home!

One of THE VERY BEST experiences on our 10 day trip!! From shopping in the market, to making our entire meal along the beautiful coastline in the welcoming Ahoy Ristorante and then enjoying it all with new friends, this was a perfect experience. Mimmo and his whole family run an extremely organized and well run operation which smoothly took care of about 40 of us.

The experience was absolutely amazing!!! It was a family owned and operated restaurant with 3 generations in the Resturant! Headed up by chef Mimmo, a kind and knowledgeable chef, he taught us how to make exceptional food, and kept the day running smoothly. Everything was so well organised we all had a wonderful time!

Absolutely one of the best cooking classes I have been to .Minmo was fantastic and his mamma was wonderful . The view is amazing along with the most delicious food and wine

One of the best excursions we have ever done. The location is STUNNING and the food was plentiful and delicious!! Chef and Nonna were excellent teachers, and we learned things that we will take back home with us. Who knew that such tasty food was so easy to make. Keep it simple...

Chef Mimmo was great and very knowledgeable. It was great picking up the local products from the market and using it for the recipe. His mom was a riot and we had a great experience on our honeymoon. Best part was the food, highly recommend!

Cooking classes are always a wonderful way to learn about local food customs and Chef Mimmo did not disappoint. Both personable and informative Chef Mimmo took great pride in explaining cultural nuances, making food preparation fun and entertaining. Great day and our meal was excellent….!!

What an amazing experience!! We loved everything about it. The location. The company. The things we learned. The food we made!! We would do this again in a minute. Showed how simple great food can be. A must do if you are in the area!!

This was great. They were very organized. We cooked and ate a 4 course meal. It lasted 5 relaxing hours. The leader and his mom were friendly and nice. And they provided recipes at the end
