Siena, San Gimignano的充实旅行
在佛罗伦萨旅行的日子里我们报名参加了CiaoFlorence组织的Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni与品酒的一日游。一天四个地方的确很紧张，不像我们平常自由行的悠闲，但是旅行安排的紧凑使得效率也很高。48人一团，我们四个人是唯一来自亚洲的旅客，但和来自五湖四海的游客也聊的很开心，这的确是一个认识朋友、欣赏风景、学习艺术文化的好机会。导游Antonio非常耐心，为我们详细介绍每一个景点。在Siena还为我们提供导游讲解器，方便了解教堂内部作品信息。唯一美中不足的就是在报名联络方式的选择上有些不方便，为了剩下国际漫游费，我选择用Whatsapp与他们联系，但是并没有及时得到回复，即便信息都显示“已阅”；后来只能打电话向他们报名，通话质量不清晰使得我的名字也被听错，报名 voucher也没有发到我的邮箱内（估计也是听错了），还好出发当天比较顺利，不用过于担心。

The whole experience was cool. I now have my own fragrance - and they have you write down the recipe so that if you want more you can write them and they can make it again! I call mine The Royal Marcus.

Perfume making

It was a nice morning as it was raining and we could be in doors. Even my husband enjoyed the experience. It was amazing to watch the scent person choose how many drops of each scent to achieve the fragrance for our personal bottle .

Basic introduction - limited scent options.

The experience was ok. I was so excited to come away with something I LOVED with scents I know I like but I came away with something very different. I learned about the three levels and how each builds together like a recipe to make the overall impression and scent but we didn't learn anything about what might go together or what doesn't. There was a really limited number of scents to choose from in each level and I was disappointed that scents I know I love (or ones similar) were not options. It's like being in a cooking show and you have to make a meal from whatever they supply in the limited pantry... might work out... might not... and it's certainly not what you'd choose if you got a better selection. In the end, I found that many of our perfumes smelled quite similar. I was glad the class size was small so we didn't have to wait for everyone to have theirs made but we did t really get to know the professionals just the lady delivering the instructions. I would choose a class with a wider variety of scents available to choose from and pay more to come away with something I love. Hoping I like it better after 30 days.

Happy with my unique fragrance

Nice little perfumery. The host was friendly and informative. However, as a few others mentioned, there wasn’t much of an education received during the process. It was a lot of waiting, and rather than getting to create my own fragrance all of the elements I selected were taken and prepared by the apprentice behind the scenes. Wish I could’ve been more hands-on.

Nice afternoon with teenagers at

Really a nice afternoon. The store was cute and the ladies were so nice and patient helping us to find the perfect scent. Even my teenage sons who are now interested in cologne also found it entertaining.

Lovely

Views were amazing and food was great…
However, the crowds were huge! We went five years ago and it was not this crowed, more enjoyable. We over packed, which is not a good idea, but, we did bring good walking shoes, a must!
We did get to see things we missed on our first trip.

Different, but not really a class.

This was cute to do with my daughter, but it’s not really a class. Don’t expect to learn much about scents or why you mix what they tell you to mix. You get a bottle of your scent at the end. They were so busy, most of the time we just waited.

A charming experience

A charming gem of an experience. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to this beautiful little shop. The instruction was in clear English; the women leading the class were warm and kindly; everyone at our table loved the scents they came up with. We enjoyed meeting other travelers as well. The setting is quite pretty and the process interesting and fun. Highly recommended.

One scent at a time !

This was by far the most precious and meaningful activity I have done! I had the chance to create my own scent, which turned out amazing. It was a lovely small group of six, and we all took our time crafting our scents. In the end, we each received a cute certificate, which was a nice touch. Now, I have to wait for 20 days before I can use it. I am so excited!!
