We stood in line with anticipation to get in. We were actually too early, but we thought this was no big deal. We joined the queue. When we were finally allowed inside, past the gentleman of course, he told us that we had to hand in our backpacks at the specially designed lockers on the other side of the square. He had no use for the QR code of our tickets and did not know who or where he could exchange it for a paper ticket. This had to be in your possession otherwise you would not enter. Okay, we look for the lockers, handed over a backpack with an umbrella and banana in it. The gentleman managed to tell my love where the ticket office was. Back in line, now another longer line. Once at the counter, no QR code could be read and no paper ticket could be issued. It didn't look like the gentleman behind the counter was going to help. We think that this gentleman is a bit dissatisfied with his work for God's house, unfriendly and rigidly he kept repeating that this was not possible. Gave no further information! What a wimp!! We walked around the church again for information. Meanwhile it was 1 hour later. Read the information app for the third time to see what was going on and where you could change your ticket to enter. Then my love saw a blonde lady somewhere among the crowd of people with something yellow in her hand. This was the lady with the yellow vest that she wasn't wearing!! On this I won't wear this ugly vest because it doesn't suit my blonde hair type, it said ACCORD Italy smart tours & experiences. Whatever it had actually become, a real experience! We reported, our name was checked off. Under the assumption that we would be allowed in immediately. Unfortunately, it's a shame... back in the now twice as long queue to end up with the very first gentleman (now without a backpack). With a hello again we finally went inside for our viewing. In the meantime, we could have used a cup of coffee before walking up the enormous number of stairs. What a hassle through this unclear organization. What if the blonde darling lady had simply worn her vest as expected and instructed...?! My, my,…pffff

I booked a visit to Florence Duomo. It was scheduled to 13:15. Well, I found that it was not 13:15 but 13:45 because they had 100 people to attend and so they scheduled 30minute in advance
Because of that, I lost my lunch appointment
There was only 1 person to deliver all those tickets. Line was insane in the street and nobody to assist
To top it all, they didn’t advised us that Firenze Cathedral was closed on 31 December. So we paid for a full tour and got a half one

Dear Guest,
thank you for your time and we are sorry that your opinion about the experience is not positive.
We would like to point out, however, that we have specified on the product description page that due to the nature of the site of your visit, access and entrance hours may be subject to change due to the needs of museum management.
The place you visit is a Cathedral and as such actively performs religious functions and has its own, unbreakable rules.
The facility offers ample opportunity to visit but reserves the right to conduct its religious services in the manner that suits them best; therefore, we felt it necessary to warn our guests with the following wording placed prominently on the product description page:
"ACCESS to the complex and VISIT TIMES may be subject to changes due to extraordinary events and depending on the guidelines of the Opera del Duomo."
You were not denied access to the Cathedral, but there was probably a church service going on, so simply waiting until it was over would have sufficed.
We renew our displeasure at your disappointment but feel we have provided all the necessary information prior to your purchase to make you aware.

The Duomo of Florence is beautiful but without our guide we would never have been able to understand how much! She was very good at understanding which aspects we were most interested in and was also able to provide us with funny anecdotes about it. It was also great to have skipped the endless queue at the entrance.

Due to a mix up u did not have a valid ticket, and security refused entry despite efforts by the guide. Guide gave me her ticket - so no guided tour, rushed visit and unpleasant experience. I have requested full refund but no response yet.

Thank you for the time you've dedicated to this review.
We apology for the unpleasant issue; unfortunately the dome of the cathedral is one of the most difficoult to manage attraction and rarely occasional problems may occur.
Anyway we're glad at least you were able to visit it and so enjoy the masterpiece of the dome and its amazing panorama.
We've made a partial refund which you'd see on your bank account very soon.
Again we do apology but i hope you've apreciated the great effort of our guide to try to solve the issue and so i hope you'll give another chance to us by choosing us for another amazing experience in Florence.

After my airline cancelled my flight, I was not able to attend the experience. I missed the rescheduling window by 6 minutes and they were unwilling to reschedule my ticket. A matter of minutes and they could accommodate this request even though it had extenuating circumstances outside of anyone's control. Wouldn't recommend them based on their customer service.

However, it is essential to highlight that we are obliged to adhere to the strict policies and regulations of various museums and service providers with whom we collaborate. These policies may involve reservation cancellations and reorganization and often lie beyond our control.
In your specific case, we understand your disappointment in missing the reorganization window by just 6 minutes, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

You climb over 400 steps with a couple stops to see things on the way. Our guide was a little flustered. She had some good facts but did not present them in a clear talk. Interesting but hard to follow sometimes as she was pointing to things and some of us could not really see where she was pointing. (There were 16 of us in the group) Very beautiful to see the view from the top! Worth it in the long run.

You start the climb immediately. There are some spots where you can catch your breath. I'm tall, but was able stand normally most of the time. Afraid of heights? Good luck, you walk on two very small pathways inside the dome.

We met at the almond doors of the Santa Maria del Fiore and our guide gave us an in depth explanation of how it was built while we waited. our guide Natalia was fantastic. would do it again.

Very enjoyable, informative and highly recommended tour! Our guide Virginia was amazing! There was only 6 of us in a group ( 3 of us-adults and a French family with a young boy) and Virginia’s commentary kept us all engaged. She gave us historical context and detailed explanation full of facts about how the cathedral, the dome, the Baptistry and the Bell Tower were built, detailed description of frescoes that decorate the inside of the dome (they were truly spectacular, I am not an art enthusiast but Virginia’s commentary made them come alive). The view from the top of the dome were really worth climbing all those steps! The Museum ( the entry is included in the price of the ticket) is worth visiting too. If you are visiting on a sunny day, grab a cup of coffee of a glass of Aperol in one of the coffee shops on the Plazza and enjoy the beauty of the cathedral on the outside.

Wonderful experience with Vitoria our tour guide, I highly recommend this experience as the tickets get you into five locations related to the Duomo and you can go in another time in the same 72 hr period if you wait in the none skip the line, line.

I believe it’s a 2 - 2.5 hour tour, but I can’t be certain. There was a funeral in the Cathedral that day so we did not get to climb the Duomo. We visited the museum and baptistery on our tour and then climbed the bell tower in our own.

Three of us did this tour today, June 1, and were told my guide today, Olesia, it would not include a brief tour of the Duomo nor include entry into the baptistery. These were two of the areas we had wanted to see besides the climb and had paid this higher price for. What a disappointment. As well our tour guide tried hard but a lot of her English we couldn’t understand and even her facts about the Duomo were incorrect. Since the terms were not met I am requesting refunds of the $50 for each of us ($150) three people and would like your explanation of why the terms were not met.
